Worst Car Rental Experience Ever!!!

RUN, don't walk from this car rental agency - think bait and switch. When we called they refused to honor their online rate, so we booked online.

The manager Jessica then CANCELLED THE ONLINE RESERVATION, phoned and called my son "A SNEAKY BAST*RD." I called to speak with the owner, but Jessica refused to allow us to speak with him until after the time we needed the car. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

I wish I have read this review earlier today.

I am taking this issue further and I invite you to join me.

I have completed my car rental with economybookings earlier today and I come to realize it was indeed a bait and switch. I have paid the full amount since my reservations is only for one day.

I have received an email that my "request" still needs to be processed & I should hear back within 2 days whether the car is available. My car is reserved for the after tomorrow.

I have attempted to call the company's different offices, as well as BookingBuddy (where Economybookings was featured) & its holding company and was not able to get any representative on the line.

I proceeded to write an email to EconomyBookings CCing different consumer protection organizations. I refuse to be a victim to a bait and switch scam. I have agreed to pay a set price for a specific car that appeared as available at a certain date at a specified location.

EconomyBookings are obliged to provide exactly that.

If EconomyBookings refuse to rectify the matter, I intend to take this further, along with other customers that were wronged by EconomyBookings (very easy to find these days), to not only file official complaints with Better Business Bureau and other agencies, but to voice our complaints online, on social media sites, in a way that will not cause EconomyBookings SUCH a PR headache, that their affiliates- car rentals, travel sites etc. will run away from EconomyBookings like they would a wild fire.

I hope it doesn't come to it, but if I start a facebook group- I will be sure to post a link here.

I agree.

It appears EconomyBookings is a bait and switch and they do business in a very dishonest way.

I have an issue with them that I took to consumer protection agencies.

If EconomyBookings will not rectify the matter in a timely manner for no additional cost, I intend to take my issue with them further, along with other customers that were wronged by EconomyBookings (will post a link to a facebook group),

to not only file official complaints with Better Business Bureau and other agencies, but to voice our complaints online, on social media sites and other platforms, in a way that will cause EconomyBookings SUCH a PR headache, that not only prospective clients but also their affiliates- (car rentals, travel sites etc.) will run away from EconomyBookings like they would from a wild fire.

As consumers we have power and it is our right and our duty to use it.

Whereas a few decades ago only issues worthy of a legal action have gotten attention, these days we can use our voice to address more subtle semi-legal and to reward business that are fair and do right by their clients.

Finding A Reasonably Priced Rental Car In The Usa

Finding a reasonably priced rental car in the USA when you're under 25 can be a bit of a headache, with the oft hidden young drivers surcharge of between $10 - $25 causing your quoted price to balloon. However, Super Cheap is your (and was my) solution. They do not charge this fee and the quote you get on their website (or on the phone) is final. I'm a 21 year old UK student and was one of the thousands who flocked to California in April to go to Coachella. I got quotes from all the big-name agencies (Thrifty, Enterprise, Avis, etc.) and my budget couldn't stretch to any of their offers. I even got a quote from Rent-A-Wreck, which was also a bit too much. Super Cheap's quote was the cheapest, hands down; with no young drivers surcharge, they rose above the competition. They have a fleet of 5-door Toyota Corollas and mine got me between LA, Coachella and Vegas without any hiccups. The customer service was also fantastic. You step into the office and there are photos from all their clients on the wall and a map showing where their clients come from, you can tell they cater towards young people and those coming from outside the States, and they do it well. If you're under 25 and need a car on the West Coast, Super Cheap is for you.

I Came From Korea And Needed A Car To Get Around.

I came from Korea and needed a car to get around. So i did some research and came across Super Cheap Car Rental. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff that got me in the car I wanted at the price I was looking for. I was a bit sceptical about going to a smaller company but in the end I found that the price was much more competitive. I will definitely be renting from this company in the future.
