Sevis

I hired a car from Sevis in Oct 08. Sevis/International Car LDA had taken 1,000 euros from my credit card, even when I paid extra for No Excess cover. I had given my card as deposit for fuel only. I have telephone 10 times, just goes to mobile and e-mailed 12 times; got no reply. Finally got my money via credit card company!!!

I rented a car from Sevis in Faro airport at the beginning of September. When I returned from holiday I noticed that the company had charged an extra '950 on top of the fee for the car I rented ( '350). When I rang the company the girl who answered didn't want to hear my story and referred me to a guy. I have called the guy a total of 16 TIMES and emailed him 10 times since I came back from holiday. He doesn't reply to any of my emails and when I do finally get to speak to him I am given various excuses, usually that the money has been refunded and will hit your account in the next few days etc. I am still nearly '1000 out of pocket for no reason whatsoever. My advice is go to a recognised rentacar company.
