Enterprise Rent-a-car - Walked In Off The
Enterprise Rent-A-Car -
Walked In off the street to an Enterprise Car Rental Location in Elk River in the Mid-West as my car was in the repair shop and told by Brian that their cheapest rental was $85 a day - KIA Spectra!
Thought that sounded expensive but assumed that was the going rate so eccepted.
After a prolonged rental due to ongoing repair problems with my own vehicle I checked the price on the web and find that the car should be no more than $40 - $45 a day so I call customer service to inquire if the company policy is different for walk in clients - IT IS NOT!
Spoke to the rental agent and branch manager - at the Elk River branch to be told he had done nothing wrong and that rental prices fluctuate daily - prices haven't moved a cent in the last 2weeks !
In fact today the price's are down!
Also when you pick a car up at Enterprise it can have any amount of Gas in the tank which makes it nearly impossiblt to take it back with the same amount!
The Way This Outfit Works Is As Follows, The Owner
The way this outfit works is as follows, the owner gets a couple of his young employees to deliver the vehicle to your resort. You sign the deposit receipt but when you're done with the vehicle, they tell you they'll pick it up later and leave your deposit receipt with the hotel's reception. Of course they never do and you get stuck with paying the deposit.
After six weeks of trying to dispute this with RBC Visa, the owner of this company manufactured a fake damage claim on the vehicle I rented.
Do not, I repeat do not use PLUS rent a car.
I had the exact same thing happen to me in March of this year and am still battling the bank.
