This summer I went to Montenegro with a friend and we needed to hire a car so we could go around Kotor Bay and other landmarks.

We considered all options, hiring in Croatia and dropping in Montenegro which proved to be very expensive and complicated to arrange. After research online and contacting some local companies we came across "M Rent a Car".

Sladjana, the person who runs the business, was very helpful right from the beginning in terms of finding the best solution for us and she was more than happy advise us of the pros and cons of hiring in Croatia and dropping in Montenegro.

After one month were we had finally all the travel planned, we contacted M Rent a Car again to get a quote for our car hire. They gave us the quotes for 2 options and we decided to pick up at Herceg Novi keep it for 2 days and drop it at Podgorica airport.

At first, we were wary as no payment in advance was required, but it is mentioned on the website that "Advanced payment not required, you will pay at pick up location". Our dates and pick and drop off locations were also confirmed.

The day had come, we were in contact with Sladjana whilst we were still in Dubrovnik and on the day we arrived to Herceg Novi everything run smoothly. She was there at the time we scheduled with the car and documents ready. We did the regular check up to the car and then she drove us to the nearest cash point where we then paid the car rental.

Regarding the car, it was good condition despite not being the most recent model and we had no problems whatsoever.

Should I return to Montenegro, I will definitely hire from M Rent a Car again.
