Used leisure car rental in 2013 on vacation for a week in St. Maarten. They were easy to deal with, picked me up at the airport, easy to return the car also. No hidden surprises, no extra charges, didn't try to claim I damaged the car as I hear so many of the companies on the island do. They gave me a free upgrade car the first day then came and swapped it out for the one I choose at my hotel the second day. Good company would use again.

Jimmy was waiting for us at SXM when we arrived. Car was ready at the curb, I signed for Credit Card and inspection, loaded baggage in truck and was headed to hotel in less than 5 minutes. Leisure picked up my car at hotel two days later at exact time we agreed to. No surprises! Rental rate was competitive and exactly as quoted. This was my second year to rent from Leisure. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

From our online reservation to airport pickup, everything was handled with no worries at all. We first booked with Jimmy 3 years ago and the service was flawless, so naturally, on our return this year, we emailed Jimmy and experienced the same service. As soon as we collected our baggage on arrival, Jimmy was waiting with our car and we did our once over the car and signed, all of 5 minutes. Upon our departure, a representative was already at the drop off and off we went. I highly recommend Leisure's friendly and efficient service.

It could not have been an easier process. I was on my way to the hotel within 10 min of exiting customs. When I returned to the airport they were waiting in the 90 degree heat for me and I was on my way. Would highly recommend to anyone. FYI I did buy the damage waiver even though my Amex and US auto insurance cover rentals just because I didn't want to deal with obsessing over the car. The infrastructure on the island is sub-par and the cars take a little beating just driving from town to town.

Leisure car rental was a pleasant and strait-forward company to communicate with. Responses to most of our e-mails were returned the same day. Arrangements for pick-up and drop-off worked as pre-arranged and personnel were friendly to deal with. The car itself worked fine but one of the seat-belt harnesses was missing. I would certainly use Leisure Car Rental again in the future.
