I am another overseas victim of Brian's Rent A Car. The vehicle we rented for about two weeks was returned in exactly the same condition in which it was hired to us. After two weeks I enquired about the return of my deposit and was told that I had returned the car with new damage. This is completely false and subsequent investigations (there are many stories on Trip Advisor and The Olive Press)have shown that this company regularly falsely claim that damage has been done and refuse to return deposits. I have been unsuccessful in retrieving even the balance of funds after deduction of the costs to repair the alleged damage and have made the appropriate Spanish authorities aware of this company’s practices. My strong recommendation is to pay a little more and go with a reputable company and give Brian’s Rent A Car a wide berth.
