Grab Advance - Zero Service - Daylight Loot

Wrong estimation of distance provided in the invoice.. ; If the vehicle cannot reach Munnar without permit and it requires a distance of 650 kms instead of 510 then it should have been specified in your estimate. ; Poor Customer service - the driver did not relate himself to Bookcab and said he was independent operator and people at Bookcab donot know ground realities of trips ; No resolution provided by helpdesk ; Manager not available for discussion ; No response on 3 emails sent ; This experience is extremely frustrating and spoilt entire holiday plan. I had to come back home with family and cancel my hotel booking ; Now they are not refunding the advance of INR 2650 and have forfeited as cancellation charges.. this is daylight loot ;

Worst-left On Road & Ask For Money & Luggage Holding In Car

worst ever I have come across

they had problem with car owner for money

Hold us hostage on the road with our luggage in car

They asked for extra money

Very poor response from book cam

At some point of time I was told that SORRY WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING from book cab

Finally I had to give extra money.

When we asked to refund extra money we got very rude answers and plenty of reasons and trying to put blame that you did not stop at place etc, etc.

It is never reliable

I would never recommend especially if you are with family as we had got stuck at middle of road with family and about to miss our flight.

The service we got from BookCab was horrible. Toor was of 4days, but those 4 days were nothing but harassment. Customer service did not respond properly. Drivers behaviour was horrible. He did not know anything about the roots or rules or anything. He refused to go to couple of places, where we were planing to go. They charged extra money, which were not in the estimated invoice. Took extra 200 Rs, just because driver told that he bribed someone. But in reality we did not seen him to give money to anyone. In total it was horrible experience.

Pathetic Service - Pay Advance And Forget It

Tried to book cab twice from banglore to mysore, paid advance through paytm mobile wallet. Both time payment deducted from paytm account(Rs. 986 each), but showed transaction failed on there website. On contacting bookcab, they said they have received money and will refund within seven days, but even after 22days and 20-30 calls, haven't refunded.

Now there one of customer care executive(Rishabh Vaishnav) said that contact anyone you want but they will not procide support. I wrote a mail to the company with attached audio recording of the phone conversation. but no response.

Same thing happened with me you can raise your complain to national consumer helpline and also send them a legal notice if still not works file a consumer case against them

Refund Promised- Never Given

I had booked a cab from Pune to Bijapur( Karnataka) .After booking I was told that there will be additional charges for Road Tax permit in Karnataka- I refused and asked for cancellation.They then agreed to honour the contract where I will not be paying the road permit taxes which was not a part of original contract.

However to my shock on entering Karnataka state, I was asked to shell out additional Rs 1924/- for Road Permit tax.I had no option but to pay - After the trip I took up the issue and after repeated follow up, I got the following email

However after almost 20 days I still have not received any refund- and worst thing is that they are not responding to multiple emails. It seems the intention is not to pay at all.

Bookcab Gives Me The Worst Trip Of My Life

We booked a cab from Bangalore to Shivanasamudram for Sunday, September 2013, 6:00 AM. The BookCab sent us details of a driver a night prior to our journey date but changed the driver details in the morning.

30 km out of the city, a car consisting of 4 men follows us and then asks the driver to park the car near a hotel on the highway. Those men get down and take the keys from the driver and ask him to step down. They tell us that the loan has not been deposited for the vehicle and they are seizing it for now. I called bookcab customer care and they said that they will give me a callback after "they find out about the problem". They gave a call back after an hour saying the problem was rectified and we could continue in the same car. Those men left.

Another 40 km, in some village near Channapatna, another man on a bike stops our vehicle, takes out the key and asks the driver to step down. This time, I asked the driver to drop us back in Bangalore and sort the matter later. He kept delaying us saying the matter would be sorted out. Again the bookcab executives said that they would give a callback after they look into the matter. We we joined by another man on a bike saying that the papers were still not proper and that the vehicle will be seized.

Worst of all, the driver was reluctant to drop us anywhere near Bangalore and one of those two men drove us to the nearest bus stand. The driver, in fact, demanded money from us. Finally,after we boarded the bus, we got a call from the bookCab executives saying that they had arranged another vehicle for us. I told the executive and later their manager, that I would naver ever travel in their cab again nor let anyone remotely related to me to do so. What was supposed to be a fun family trip turned into a nightmare and we ended up wasting 8 hours in this hassle.

Recently I went to Mysore with my friends.I booked a cab at Bookcab.I am impressed the services provided by them.The vehicle they provided for me is well-maintained.The driver is very professional in riding.The customer services are very good.
