We had an excellent experience renting a car from Adobe car rental. They were polite, upfront, and a car was exactly what we needed. They we’re also cheaper than the big name car rentals. We used it for our 11 day trip throughout Costa Rica and had zero issues. My son left his iPad in the backseat pocket of the car rental and they even mailed it to me via DHL! I am so impressed with them and highly recommend using them.

When I returned my car, they pointed out a scratch on the front plastic and said it was t there before. I always parked front in and never had the.car in a place where It could be damaged. It was obviously from before. The airport was extremely small with only about 12 people. There was a lady with the same rental and they did the same thing with her. We both go to Costa Rica often, she owns, I’m shopping for a place and we both will share our experience with everyone that we can.

I rented with Adobe in January and expect for the surprise email a few days before the trip telling me I had to pay up front, which they hadn't previously said anything about, it was fine. I booked direct on their website. The second trip in March I booked as part of my flight booking. I figured I knew the company, the process, all was good. The flight website didn't include the insurance, but I knew about it and what it would cost since I was just there 2 months earlier. When I got there they charged me 60% more for the same insurance on a cheaper car than the trip before. It was same year, same season, government laws hadn't changed, there was no justification. I had them look up my previous booking and confirmed the difference. They could give no justification. The justification of course was because they could stick it to me. Not acceptable and I will not rent with them again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience with Adobe Rent a Car in Costa Rica. All the staff was particularly helpful. I compared prices and found the price very competitive. Also I liked the price with no surprises at the end. My husband and I considered that Adobe gave us a high value experience.

Hace 10 años que viajó a Costa Rica cada año y alquilo mi coche en Adobe rent a car y cada vez encuentro mejor servicio, nuevas prestaciones, celular gratis, seguro total por sólo 100 USD de fianza y me sorprenden las nuevas ventajas como poder recogerlo y devolverlo en lugares diferentes a un coste adicional muy pequeño. Este año lo recibí en el aeropuerto para después devolverlo en Arenal, viajar en avión a Quepos para recogerlo allí de nuevo y dejarlo en San José al finalizar el contrato por la mejor tarifa entre todas las opciones. Además me ofrecieron un 4x2 BEGO, MAS ECONOMICO DE LO QUE ESPERABA. Muchas gracias y PURA VIDA !!!

Adobe car rentals on san Juan was the worst experience for renting a vehicle I've ever had. When I requested a sub they told me they had none until I told them I requested a automatic then magically they had a sub available. The price doubled and I ended up paying more the insurance than the actual car rental for the week. The vehicle we had had worn out brakes and was dirty inside. The customer service was very rude and short with us. We have rented from several companies in costa Rica before and were only charged half the price for better vehicles. Worst experience ever!

This is the BEST car rental company in Costa Rica. We have hundreds of clients come in every year and we always recommend Adobe. They have the best cars, and great prices, but the most important SERVICE. My clients love using Adobe as they always meet the clients at the airport and go out of their way to make their Costa Rica experience the best. I would recommend this to EVERYONE.

I found out in Adobe good value and courteous staff. It was fast and easy to rent the car. The total cost of the rental was exactly what they quoted when we made the reservation !!

I just returned from my vacations in Costa Rica. We rented a car with Adobe and was very well impressed with their policies and service. The car was almost new and received a very personalized service when we rented the car. We had an incident with the vehicle and their insurance worked perfectly. No small print. Didn't pay a cent, even though it was our fault. When we return to Costa Rica, will definitely rent again with them.

We have been living in Costa Rica for 8 years and since the roads are in really bad shape we decided to rent a car with a Corporation rate 8monthly rate), we have a hotel so the best offer was with Adobe rent a car. we started renting in Nov 2010. After severeal months in which everery month we change vehicke ir arrives Feb 23rd, at that date we had to provide a new cc number to charge the $1000 deposit for the vehicle we had rented and which we have had already paid until Feb 26th. The person with which we were in contact said that we could provide the cc number during the day, my wife called at 14:00 and the adobe representative said it was tood late and that an employee from the company was on the way to pick up the rented vehicle. I called the manager and asked why, he said the vehicle we had was already rented, i saked how come if we had it paid for 3 more days. He did not give a logic reply and asked him which vehicle I was gonig to have as it was in the last 4 months (we return a vehicle and we get another one) he says that there's no vehicle available. Well.. since they never returned any deposut from the previous 4 cars plus we had the vehicle paid for 3 more days I was really angry and I told him and his boss at the main office in san Jose (a 3 partie phone call) that I was not going to return the vehicle until I got my deposits back in our bank account. Our surprise was when next day my wife was driving the vehicle and the adobe manager just cut her way on the road to our hotel, went out of adobe official car with a bullertproof vest, ask my wife to ruturn the vehicle and she told him to go with her and our 5 year old daughter and lots of goods for the hotel and she would return the vehicle, then he took out an automathic gun and told her to get out of the vehicle...of course she did...my doughter really scared..

We of course went to the police and report and denounce this case, next week it will appear on the national newspapers as well as TV.

Be careful with this company....at least in Quepos...totally to be called an armed gang...and we have not received any reply about our freezed deposuts yet...be careful...be aware....
