Worst weakest car rental ever

I consider Adding a review will waste my time. But I believe that my review this time will prevent everyone from losing their money. This company has never solve a problem if happened and accept any car rental company whether it will provide a decent service or not. When a problem arise they never trust the client. Just the car suppliers. Refunding will never happen and you will be marked as not showing and you will never receive a good service. The supplier last time informed them that i didn’t accept the car.but in real life they offered a cheaper Chinese brand that I never trust. So they didn’t refund my money back and the supplier control the whole process of the rental. I lost my money and the supplier gain the double because in the same day they offered the car to another customer. Believe me when I said this fraud business from VIP CARS. I will never forget they emailed me after I honestly explained the situation that they cannot handle my problem furthermore. If you want waste your money and put your self in bad situations abroad deal with VIP CARS.believe me not only me face this situation with them. I added just few others reviews. I wish others face the same problem with them to write a review that may saves others from being tricked over and over again. They don’t have a policy to return your money from the car supplier and they make you feel stupid when you get the bad service in the rental location. The real rating on google is 3.5 but they rate themselves as 4.9 also added the real rate and some other clients face the same problem. I wish my review give you an idea about dealing with VIP CARS. and wish to save others from being frustrated like me.

Advising not rent from this company (company uses deceptive policies)

VIP Cars seems to violate consumer protection legislation and is acting unlawfully by failing to refund charges that were paid without valid justification. The company enforces contractual terms that are not disclosed to the customer and subsequently asserts that such payments are non-refundable.

They charged me for a rental car that was never provided. Despite clear written evidence that I complied with all stated terms, the company refuses to issue a refund. This approach seems deceptive.

After unfortunately scratching a rental car, I've submitted a claim on the 31st July 2025. This was accepted in September and all documents processed.

This was followed by months waiting for the payment to be made to the supplied bank account. When I made a complaint, I was surprised with the information that despite telling me that the claim was settled and asking for my bank details, they decided that they didn't agree with the value charged by the rental company and therefore wouldn't pay. I've been asking for updates regularly and I'm just promised that senior management will look into it but nothing happens. It's over 4 months and I'm still waiting.

Left me stranded with my children in Orlando!!

Left me completely stranded in Orlando with my wife and children. Did not book a vehicle on my behalf with the local company. Instructed me on the phone to hire another vehicle at there cost. Have refused to give me the recording, have told me it’s my fault and there was a car available (there wasn’t) currently in the process of taking them to court to recover my costs. Thankfully I have recorded them admitting full liability on my iPhone during one of my calls. Absolute clowns, avoid like the plague!!!!!!

Misleading pricing and zero customer service when things went wrong

I was asked to pay extra at the counter( on my booking was free 1st addictional driver , but it wasn't in the rental system I phone VIP customer service sait to me pay) VIPCars assured me I’d be reimbursed — it never happened. No proper follow-up or refund.

i rented a car with drivilia at manchester airport. i paid a deposit to vipcars to make sure we would have this car. we flew 12 hours and when we arrived a little late we called the car rental, to let them know. when we arrived at the car rental facility they told us the car was anceled as we were too late. they did "however" " somehow" had the same car for 200 pounds more expensife. i called viopcards and they were not helpfull. they did not help us. the car rental company took advantage of stranded poeple. vip cars did NOTHING to help us eventhough they were the company we had booked by. we eneded paying 200 pounds more with a terrible company. dont ever book through vip cars just go direct to the rental company. you dont save monye. it just seems you save money and even after i complained, they were not intrested to make this good, they were rather in denial, that they lied that i was late. eventohough i contacted the company well before teh hou is over. whom doesnt know airlines can be delayed. the car was there and they took advantage of us. there were three more elderly poeple they took advantage off
