Customer oriented and easy process

I used the company's services for third time and find the process very easy and customer oriented. It is possible to order the car and submit all the necessary informations completely remote by using a phone or computer. Reminders and proactive messages from Top Rent A Car are very helpful whiteout being to aggressive and annoying. The employees are always very friendly, polite and professional. The return process is also very fast and user friendly. Living in Germany I was very positive surprised the Top Rent A Car is a in mine opinion a top level company at European level. I can only recommend using the services of the company.

The dark grey car was handed over at poor lighting on the underground parking. A walked arround and haven'notice any deffect from the top side. Unfoetunately, I should lie under the car to inspect it below. Because, at the return, the employee headed to the car front bumper and bended down, putting his head under and claiming that I caused the scratch. I have no incidents during my period. And this scratch is caused from before. They claim there is no history, that means it caused by there employee. So despite the highest level of insurance I paid, my deposit was retained. This company try to earn money by activities other from rent a car.

We must clarify that the reported damage was not located underneath the vehicle but on the lower part of the front bumper—fully visible without the need for a car lift or workshop inspection. Our colleague identified it during the standard return check without using any special equipment, which confirms that it could have been seen during pickup as well.

Furthermore, the charge applied was not for the bumper itself, but a standard administrative fee of €30, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. This fee is issued whenever new damage is recorded during return, regardless of the level of protection selected.

All procedures were followed strictly and transparently. The suggestion that we profit from anything other than our core rental service is both inaccurate and unfair.

We remain available to discuss any concerns through the official communication channels.

When I return the car, the employee went to the front bumper and bended beneath, saying that there is a scatch down below and my deposit will be retained. In order to avoid such issues I paid the highest level of insurance, but... I had no incidents during the period. Dark grey car was handed over to me onunderground paking at poor lighting, moreover I haven't inspected the car below, I tought this is not necessary. But...the charged me for hardly visible scratch existing from before, caused probably by their employee
