After reservation car rental and paying full amount via EasyTerra (excellent!), I was charged for additional costs. At the desk, they argued that this was necessary. Otherwise they could not give me the car... After a flight and with waiting passengers, it's very dissapppointing that Interrent uses these kind of practices… Read Full Review

Hired a car at Nice airport on 23 February. Told not to worry about the car in terms of any bumps and just leave it with keys in. Car had several bumps which we photographed on hiring. Dropped car at airport 26 Feb. Two Interrent reps met us. Said all was "okay" and we could go. Noticed them looking at the bumps and talking between themselves. “AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

Hired a car on the 23rd September until the 20th October. Returned the car for an exchange on the 30th Sept due to the overwhelming disgusting smell coming from inside the car, which we though would go away on collection but didn't! “Disappointed customer”

The car we rented at Tenerife South Airport had 29 marked faults on the bodywork. When we returned it they claimed we had caused another small paint rub just beside one of the previously marked areas of damage. We did not cause this additional damage. These guys are unbelievable. Hired car at Barcelona in Aug 2019 and they took 129 EUR for fuel. We returned it full and they did not refund despite three calls and 4 incident reports on their so called customer site. We thought it odd to ask for a fuel deposit as normally companies penalise you if you do not return car full. Now we know. Booked to hire a car in June, for August. All the money was down, card details entered, no issues. It took two hours waiting at Ciampino airport and five calls to the company before we were finally picked up and taken to the depot. at which point our 'window' was already two hours in. Out for as much money as they can. We called in to say we would pick the car up four hours later. "No problem, sir. See you in the afternoon" they replied. What a bad experience. Long time waiting. Rude smoking cigarets driver. Fast driving against all traffic rules. Rude staff. Tried to cheat and were aggressive when I did not accept their conditions. Booked a car through Carflexi had confirmation of price of euro 32.31 for a car for one week INCLUSIVE all taxes and fees for a small car from INTERRENT in Tenerife. On arrival at INTERRENT office asked me if i wanted an upgrade? Why I asked? Because the car you have booked will not get you up hill!? Accepted upgrade at extra cost of euro 29.99 inclusive of vat. What a dreadful start to our holiday. Disgraceful customer service with a distinctly couldn't care less attitude. Arrived to collect car (booked through Auto Europe) to find large queue, wait time was a minimum of one and half hours.Some were told they could pay 50 Euros for express checkout (still they waited one and a half + hours). “Spurious charges”

I returned our hire car back to Interrent at Murcia Airport. There was nobody to check the car so I took photos. They charged me 30 euros for special cleaning. When challenged they said they had a photo, but couldn't open it or send it. There customer services was terrible. this was a blatant attempt to get more money out of the booking. “Charged for fuel”

We picked up our car from Alicante Airport and paid full for full on fuel. When we got the car it only had a quarter of a tank. And the man at the desk signed the invoice to confirm this . He said that all cars that day weren’t refilled as they had , had a problem. We returned it with half a tank and they signed it off. The WORST 'car hire firm' I have EVER had to deal with. They charged me 400 euros for damage on the INSIDE EDGES of both doors. There was only ever me in the car & I didn't damage anything! It took 3 months to get back the money from the credit card company & that was because we returned to the place where we hired the car a month later otherwise I'm sure I'd still be out of pocket. Gran Canaria Airport- I recently hired a car from interrent which I booked online with vehicle rent for £60. When I collected car, after 45 mins queuing, the man charged me over £300 - when I asked he said it was a refundable £200 damage deposit,and £50 fuel deposit, it turned out he has charged me for all of the extras that he could , even though I queried it and he didn’t even try to sell the insurances (like they usually do). when I picked car up they told me I had to pay, £1500 on website broker rental cars.com stating it would be £800.00 they made me take out there own insurance for car... I paid £157.93 then had to pay a further £301.60 I feel like The car they given me was rubbish wouldn't use this company again.
