My car was in for a Warranty repair so the Manufacturer (Kia) arranged a hire care for me to use from Enterprise. The car was delivered a day later than advised by Kia, due to lack of availability.

I returned the hire car to the Kia agent on a Friday afternoon, and handed the keys to the Repairs team. There was noboby to inspect the car so I took photographs of each door and the rear and front. On the following Monday, 3 days later, I got a Claim for Damage with a Damage Report showing that "Passenger Rear Door : Scratch-scratch through the paint on rear left
side,Dent-dent on rear left side"

I emailed the photos to the Damage Recovery Unit and heard nothing further until I phoned them 8 days later, apparently there is a note on the file that they should not pursue the claim.

I would like to know why EnterrpriseĀ raised a claim for damage 3 days after I had returned the car, and why they didn't have the courtesy to let me know the claom had been dropped.
