They pick you up on arrival at Paphos and take you to pick up your vehicle, quick service and very helpful and friendly. They even set my mobile sat nav to our property, it was a late flight and dark. Instructed us on the difference between my own automatic car and the one we were hiring.

Completely unprofessional from the start. Was given a 15 year old car that already had some minor interior damages (lights not working when opening doors), but it did its job and decided to let it slide since it was a cheap deal. But the worst part was when I gave it back, I was told to leave it at the airport, unattended with the doors unlocked and the keys under the driver’s mat. Next day I received an email that the car was damaged (small scratch on the front bumper). Of course I had no way of contending since I was already gone back in my home country. In addition, instead of the deposit being blocked as stated on the rental agreement, they had actually fully taken the money, and gave me back the remainder after they taken a hefty amount for the bogus claims. After close inspection of their pictures, I had confirmed they were taken on different dates. Regardless, I managed to claim back, through an insurance, which was not theirs and as such had to go through an arduous and stressful bureaucratic obstacle course. No proper customer contact, one of the phone numbers provided was the owner’s father who apparently does not work at the car rental. Take this as a stern advice – DO NOT rent from these shammers.

This company to make money not only from renting the cars - they add crazy bottom end car damage, which you typically dont think about or even check. After i returned the car, they said that the bumper lowest part which you dont even see while standing or sitting has a around 1 cm scratch. Then they started lying to me that they will repaint whole bumper for this small scratch and charged me 150 euros. I understand it was my fault that i didnt took extra insurance, but its just an insult to a person who works with cars to tell that you will repaint whole bumper - at the best case scenario they will spot paint with a brush or even more likely do nothing and get another 150 euros from another customer.

I've been using Elephant car hire for nearly 10 years now and I just can fault them. They have some fantastic cars at very low prices and what they quote you is all you pay. There's no hidden extras like other company's and as long as you do as they ask if you have an accident you won't pay any excess. Which is reassuring especially driving in Cyprus. Noni has phoned me a couple of times when the car I hired was not available and he has have given me an upgraded vehicle at the same price. Elephant to me is the best car hire firm in Cyprus and I've used a few. Great cars and all inclusive prices HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....

I hired a car at Cyprus though elephant car hire before I went to Cyprus it was a Ford Fiesta auto what I got was a Toyota freed what an upgrade at no extra cost, I couldn't be any happier the service was excellent both picking up and dropping off,I would definitely use again and recommend other people to use them.

Our experience hiring a car from Elephant was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the car was spotless. The price they quoted was reasonable, not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but we heard good things about them and was not disapointed. We couldn't have picked a better company.

Booked and paid Audi A4 or similar Got VW Touran, with 3/4 filled tank, dirty backseats and beeping warning signals. Obviously no sorry or compensation given Returned car on August 22nd without any problems/damages/with FULL tank, but € 2.500 is still blocked (August 27th) on my CreditCard. Yes, you can get car. But you will be ripped in every possible way

I liked the fact the each car hire company is rated by customers and these were visible. It made it much easier when I make a booking as the hardest part if always trying to avoid substandard suppliers. Very good job!

I hired a car in Bali for a weeks holiday with this company. I booked though this company as i saw sever positive reviews and they didn't disappoint me. They booked me with a local company who supplied a vehicle in very good condition and all custom service was done by the Elephant call center. I had no problem throughout the booking. Everything was as stated on their website.

We have used Elephant car hire several times over the last 4 years in Europe and Australia. They was very good value on all occasions, and they wasn't the cheapest for the type of vehicle we was looking for, they was very close. Their service has always been impeccable as were their suppliers. I've never had any problems with their vehicles and never charged more than first quoted.

The car we had was in very good condition. We upgraded it from what we originally booked as we decided yo get a convertible. The upgrade was very quick and easy. The car was located in a car park that was very close so it was easy and hassle free to find. We had to pay for a tank of fuel as per our fuel policy which we knew about and was surprised when the amount they charged us was less than gas station prices. We returned it empty, so it overall it was a very good hire. Pleasantly surprised!

Met us in the hotel on time, signed the car to us, the price was excellent compared to what we saw locally on the streets. The Tank was half full and the car was in excellent condition. We thoroughly reccomend this company and will use them again if we ever visit Paphos
