I booked a car with Do You Spain for two days, and it was canceled due to a requirement that was not clearly indicated: the plane boarding pass. I request a full refund. This practice is unfair and not transparent according to Spanish consumer protection legislation. DYS-192432554

Avoid Doyouspain. They will take your money, not provide the 7 seater hire car you ordered as none were available, leave you stranded at the airport, ignore your requests for refund. They then lie and say you never turned up to collect the car. DYS-168598994

AVOID - Still Owe Me £112.71

8 weeks and still waiting for my deposit back. Returned vehicle in perfect condition but they’ve kept £112.71 with no explanation.

Facts:

• Deposit paid: £1,389.94 (29th May 2024)

• Returned: £1,277.23 (2nd June 2024)

• Still owed: £112.71

Despite bank statements, formal complaints, and manager requests - ZERO response or resolution. Was told premium insurance meant no deposit needed - complete lie.

Vehicle had no damages. Their deposit process is a scam and customer service non-existent. Bank has advised legal action.

WARNING: You’ll likely face the same - out of pocket with no recourse. Shocking business practices.

Absolutely do not recommend

They gladly charged my credit card, which was rejected by the car company. My second credit card was also not accepted. No help from "support" at the time of arrival, no refund later, and huge extra cost for an alternative rental.

Not even a refund for the insurance I never was able to use....

How many credit cards do you have? Be prepared...

I've used Do You.....many times. Their rates are always excellent, service and comms is always good.

I would recommend them, my only caveat is make sure you check out the actual car hire company as well
