Couldnt change booking because of faulty system

I tried to change the name for one of my bookings (before the time limit), but the app just told me that the car is no longer available.. so i tried calling u guys, but I was told that since its the weekend, the rental Company couldnt help me… i had to book a new car and pay the difference just to change a name… horrible. Will never use you guys again

Without empathy with the customer

I had a problem and they couldn't give me the car. I understand the fault was mine, but I would also appreciate the need to be empathetic toward the customer, as we can make mistakes. They didn't understand me at any point, let alone offer me a solution. I'm very disappointed.

I've used this car rental service many times and have never been disappointed. Everything has always been smooth and professional. Most recently, I had to cancel a reservation, and I was very impressed with how quickly I received my refund. The customer service was excellent – fast, friendly, and very helpful. Great price and easy process

Drove from FCO to Florence and had a great time with scenic views. I paid exactly what was shown to me during my booking process which helped in staying withing budget for my trip. As long as you have your translated drivers license, passport, and arrive on time, everything should be a breeze. Great car with Apple CarPlay and no issues the entire time.

Great experience

I had a great experience with discover cars. Someone hit the car I was renting in a grocery store and left without leaving any note. The rental car company and Discover cars left me at ease when I contacted them and when I asked for the refund for the damage charge I had to pay Discover cars was super fast, gave me all the steps needed and sent me the money really fast. Highly recommended. Good job guys!

No quibble, amazing

I expected to have to wrangle about my claim but I did take out FULL COVERAGE which I recommend for any car hire abroad. Discover responded the same day, although the Bank Holiday and settled full amount in 2 days. I am amazed that the company made it so easy and very relieved as I had already paid over £1,000 to local company. Thanks so much, I have no hesitation in using Discover again. One tip, always get full cover and locally take out body AND undercarriage insurance.

The rental prices we found in discover for the car itself and the full coverage were great, and when we ended up needing the full coverage discover aproved our request in no time without any issues.

Has anyone found someone in customer support that is able to assist with an existing case? I am having an issue filing a claim and it appears no one at Discover cars is available to engage or escalate at this point. We had a not so great experience with the rental car vendor (America Cars in Mexico) and they will not release the final invoice for the damage of a popped tire. They do not deny that the damage occurred, or that we were covered by Discover Cars, and I do have the receipt and bank account statement. They just are not providing the final invoice. They are claiming that this is our own fault for booking with Discover Cars as opposed to purchasing insurance directly from them. Discover Cars will not refund without the final invoice. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips to resolve? Seems odd that Discover Cars would partner with a vendor that will not cooperate in getting them what they need to provide a customer what they paid for (insurance that covers a flat).

Hi! I have not credit card, only debit card! If they do not accept it, I cancel the reservation. I read they don't give money back but give credit points. This is true? What can I do?

You may have to accept credit points for another journey if you cancel. You always have to use a credit card when it comes to rental

Sometimes the price differential relates to whether the car can be picked up and dropped off rom the airport or not. Discovery do provide this from one of the car parks at Faro which to me is worth paying a bit extra over those that drive you off to some pick up point in Faro.

Second driver prices differs from region and car rental agency, when selecting desired location and period of travel, you are able to see the prices under each car "Rate & Car details".

I have never heard of this company. The prices seem to good. Has anyone used them in Orlando? How did you get to the their offices? They are around 6 miles from the airport. Any feed back will be appreciated.
