I don't know about personal service from individuals at Discover Cars NZ; that side of the service is probably fine. What i don't trust is that the first car - guess what? - the cheapest - was found to be unavailable and when I went up a notch to order the substitute, found that to be unavailable also. Does it not seem suspicious to you that the car I finally secured (I presume, we'll see when I get there)is costing me 50% more than the original? I read in the top right hand corner that a New Zealander had booked a car in the last 18 hours. Whoop whoop! Not thirty minutes, but 18 hours. I wonder who booked the two vehicles I had my name on then? It would have been more efficient for me to go to a sole provider and have the price guaranteed, simply by asking what they had available. Your cunning procedure may be standard practice, however, across the board from all agencies.
