Each car rental company has a period during which the car is still guaranteed for the customer if the customer is late for the pick-up (the grace period). insurance sham!
We rented a car via DISCOVER CAR from WIBER rental.
It's worth pointing out that DISCOVER CAR claims to be a car rental search engine with NO additional or hidden charges, and the site clearly advertises that there are no commission or brokerage fees.
I was offered a 135 euro insurance policy to avoid paying the excess in the event of an accident. It should be noted that the rental had been paid for with a Mastercard which ALREADY offers insurance in the event of an accident, but I felt that 135 euros was not too much.
When we received the car, Wiber told us that the €135 Discover Car insurance was not recognized by them.
Weber explained to us that DISCOVER CAR is a third-party merchant site that has no agreement with WIBER, so we had to either take out another insurance policy of the same type with WIBER, or pay a deductible of €1,500!
On our return we contacted DISCOVER CAR, who explained to us that the 135 euro fee was split between the insurance (113.5 euros and a commission of 21.65 euros...even though the site explains in its terms and conditions that there are no brokerage fees!) D.C. also explained that this insurance could not be cancelled, and refused to refund the amount!
Rather than fighting to get a refund of €135, I prefer to use my energy to let as many people as possible know how this site works, which, in my opinion, is a huge sham!

Has anyone found someone in customer support that is able to assist with an existing case? I am having an issue filing a claim and it appears no one at Discover cars is available to engage or escalate at this point. We had a not so great experience with the rental car vendor (America Cars in Mexico) and they will not release the final invoice for the damage of a popped tire. They do not deny that the damage occurred, or that we were covered by Discover Cars, and I do have the receipt and bank account statement. They just are not providing the final invoice. They are claiming that this is our own fault for booking with Discover Cars as opposed to purchasing insurance directly from them. Discover Cars will not refund without the final invoice. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips to resolve? Seems odd that Discover Cars would partner with a vendor that will not cooperate in getting them what they need to provide a customer what they paid for (insurance that covers a flat).
Hi! I have not credit card, only debit card! If they do not accept it, I cancel the reservation. I read they don't give money back but give credit points. This is true? What can I do?

I have never heard of this company. The prices seem to good. Has anyone used them in Orlando? How did you get to the their offices? They are around 6 miles from the airport. Any feed back will be appreciated.
