fter booking my car rental with AutoEurope i was told i would be met at the airport by a driver who would take me by shuttle to the hire company to receive my car. I waited at the airport for some time before calling AutoEurope. I spoke to a lady to put me on hold for a further 20minutes before telling me no pickup was available and asked me to walk to the car hire place instead.
I dragged my case to the car hire company only to be told they have no cars available and AutoEurope had known this but continued to sell me car hire.
After another call and 15minutes on hold AutoEurope asked me to take a taxi home at my own expense and return at my own expense to the airport tomorrow and see if they had car available then. Obviously unacceptable i asked for a refund, they agreed and said they would send a confirmation of this and payment would go back into my account. Three days later no confirmation and no refund. I call again to speak to a disinterested man,yawning on the phone telling me its 4am in the USA and call back later and its my banks fault i had no refund or confirmation email.
Utterly disappointed and outraged by the behaviour of staff and the company in general
