“National not up to scratch”

Auto Europe sub contracting to National Car Hire perhaps needs reviewing. Auto Earope made it easy to book and provided good value for money, that's where the good things stopped. National provided a stroppy customer service agent on collection of our vehicle, she was short tempered - perhaps a bad day.
Once we got our vehicle we asked an agent in the garage for a tour of the vehicle, never having driven an automatic convertible I was unsure of a few things. I was told 'I'll be right here' when I had a question she was nowhere to be found. The manual answered my question and off we went. It was only after we left I realised I didn't know what fuel I needed... Again we managed ourselves. Nothing major but not my best customer experience by far!
