Like many others here, we read the reviews after purchasing tickets from Ticket Royale for ID in Manchester about 10 months ago and were somewhat concerned. We understood we had paid a little over the odds but we had gotten nowhere with other ticket sellers.

Was a little reassured after speaking to them on the phone and they explained how they worked so gave 4 grand daughters our own version of the tickets meanwhile, for Christmas presents.

As the date drew closer, we called them a couple of times and once they called us, to be told that we had been upgraded to lower tier and the tickets would only be released a week before the date, to avoid fraud. They were confident they would arrive in time and even had a plan B. The tickets actually arrived by courier, to be signed for, the day before the concert. Phew! There was no price on the tickets so unsure of the face value compared to price we paid, which worked out to £140 each including the dreaded booking fee malarky! Have ticked that we would recommend, knowing the above!

Seats were excellent and we had a great time.

Paid slightly more for tickets than face value but we weren't disappointed,we were 9 rows from front and had an amazing night and good views.Highly recommended,I will be using ticket royale in the future

I bought some tickets from this site that were advertised in a very misleading way for Reading Festival.

They were sold as tickets for Friday, entry at 1000h which would have made anyone think they were for entry into the event for Friday only.

I paid £113 for two tickets.

When they arrived they were nothing more than early entry to the camp site from Wednesday - absolutely no mention of this on the website and that this ticket had to be used in conjunction with a PROPER entry ticket.

Their face value was £15 each.

Unfortunately, my teenage son and three friends who had been looking forward to the day, ended up paying a total of approx £245 for tickets worth £60 that were absolutely useless to them. A real shame for them and a hard lesson in life.

If you phone the number on the website, which all looks very professional, it's pretty obvious it's some loser sitting in his bedroom.

It also claims to be a member of ASTA, an organisation promoting fair sale of tickets but I could find no mention of Ticket Royale on their website.

i bought AC/DC Wembley standing tickets in December 7 months later 1 month before the gig they tell me the tickets are no longer available and offered a seated ticket on the top tier right to the side, all they offered was a £25 discount even though the seats offered where £50 cheaper than original price paid for standing never mind the increase in ticket value as the event grew nearer. now i have no ticket and all the other standing tickets have doubled in price meaning that i am not attending the event i have waited months to see. i cannot explain in words how disappointed i am but one thing is for sure i will never use ticket royale again and i urge others not to

Just received tickets for 1D in Cardiff tomorrow

discovered we have been charged just over £100 for £47.50 ticket. how can this be disgraceful and staff just quoting terms and conditions won't even give me the name of the manager to lodge a complaint. tickets were supposed to be an upgrade from Manchester in Oct . also have had to make several calls as we had still not received them by yesterday

children will be so so disappointed and am so upset for them

Thank you to Ticket Royale for the best night of our lives!!! We had tickets for Ed Sheeran at the 02 arena and they were such good seats - I was so happy to be so close and we had a fantastic night!! Thank you so much - fantastic service from start to finish!

Had tickets for Lee Evans - great seats as promised. tickets came 3 weeks before the show so no problems there. Signed for special delivery which I think is the best way for tickets to be sent these days. Brilliant show, Lee Evans was hilarious!! Will use again. thanks TicketRoyale

Just wanted to say what amazing service I received from this company - ordered tickets for Ed Sheeran at the O2 a while back for standing. 2 weeks before the concert I had an operation on my knee and wasn't able to stand for long - I call the offices of Ticketroyale and explained my situation and they were so helpful and agreed to exchange my tickets for seated tickets. Don't think I have ever received such good customer service and will most certainly be using them again.
