Bait And Switch
This concerns the Ticket Office Center in New York City. They provide tickets to re-sellers like Good Seat Tickets. On 6 June I went on line and found a good review for Good Seat Tickets. I followed all instructions and found tickets for Hamilton on May 18, 2017 in the orchestra. With fees and shipping the cost came to just under $1,000. When concerned about when the tickets would arrive, I was given the name and phone number of the ticket holder, Ticket Office Center in New York City. When I called I was told there was a "mistake" (how could there be when all the information was there for anyone to read on line?) but that for only $1,000 PER ticket, I could get the seats I had already paid for by credit card. The primary secondary seller, Good Seat Tickets, tried hard to find a way to rectify this but could not. I got a refund, but I had already booked plane flights and hotel since I had a confirmed (sic) reservation. Do not do business with either Good Seat Tickets, the innocent but ineffective broker and especially the bait and switch, they give New Yorker business people a bad name, Ticket Office Center. The easy of ordering was fantastic, but the problem is that it was as close to criminal as possible; perhaps that is why it was so easy to order! The company that handles customer service for Good Seat Tickets had wonderful agents, but neither they nor their manager could undo the crime.
