My Optilase consultation was cancelled today with no notice! I found out when I was sitting in the waiting room at Optilase, Belfast - after travelling 30 minutes to get there. I had phoned optilase this morning - there was no mention of appointment being cancelled. They said they tried to call me, but there were no missed calls on my phone - which I showed the man but he was not interested. There is currently so much in press about great service, with local celebrities promoting Optilase......however what I experienced was very disappointing - totally unprofessional service. I will not be putting my eyes in their hands.

Still can't see properly out of right eye. Don't tell you that if you are short sighted that you will become long sighted immediately after surgery. Opticians seem to think that everyone understands the dynamics of their eyes and are condescending when you don't. Car parking €3 per hour. Keep you waiting to see optician, but if you are late they tell you that you have to re-schedule appointment for another day. It takes me an hour to get to their office. Web site is misleading with prices, it'll cost you over €3k for procedure, not matter how they sell it for €495 per eye! They just see you as a credit card number.

Optilase are in my opinion, leaders in eye laser surgery. Their surgeons are world class and the service experience was excellent with the general manager Mark even giving me a guided tour through their 5 star clinic and the laser eye surgery process. This eliminated all my fears of having my vision taken care of by a top team of friendly and very accomplished professionals.

Highly recommended and can see why 99% of friends recommend Optilase to their friends all the time.

I appreciated the way I was made to feel comfortable before the laser eye surgery. I was extremely nervous and had not slept well the night before. The staff were reassuring and the private room facilities to be left to relax after, was exactly what I needed. I was surprised as I did not expect the whole '5 star' treatment and was blown away by the service delivered. It proved that it is the little things that count and i could have not asked for more on the day. I can see without my prescription glasses and I cannot express enough the comfort of having perfect vision, there is no better gift. Thanks again and I recommend anyone that is nervous on the risks of laser eye surgery, I suggest you call Optilase and I am sure you will get the help you need.

I heard about Optilase through their radio ads and decided to pop in. The staff are amazing from the time you go for your free consultation, right through all your pre op, surgery and post op consultations. Every question, concern or additional bits of information you need are provided and you are made to feel completely at ease.

I wore glasses for 23 years and had astigmatism, so even up to 2 years ago, my optitian had said I possibly could not get my eyes lasered. All I can say is dont wait around, Optilase is amazing from start to finish, so get it done soon. My life has been changed, big time, as I now have the freedom to do so much more around sport and work life, without the both of my glasses.

I would reccommend Optilase to anyone thinking about Laser eye surgery, seriously these guys surgeons,technolgy, care and premises are beautiful and so well planned out to look after and give people what they deserve. A life without glasses!
