I sent off my Limdberg glasses to them. When they came back they were totally shredded, as if they had been cut. I think the lab technician put them together to look like they were OK, and as soon as I picked them up they fell apart. I spoke to the owner and she said that "is very common for lindberg glasses to fall apart" which is not true - they are v strong. Further more when I asked why they did not put that on the website she said " why would we put that on the website?". They basically took my money, knowing it was likely that the glasses would snap, then put them together and sent them back. Terrible company.

I went for my sight test at Vision express but couldn't afford the price for their Zeiss lenses. managed to get a fantastic deal for the same lenses from this online opticians. Saved me a fortune. very professional and knowledgeable staff on the phone, which makes a refreshing change! Delivery took just under 2 weeks for my varifocals which was a little slow, in my opinion. Nevertheless, I Will use them again next time around.

This didn't work for me. After wearing glasses for years and having no problems I have had to send my glasses back three times and they are still not right.

I have a straightforward prescription but they cannot get the pupil distance correct.

I have ended up having to buy a new pair of glasses through an opticians and they came back fine.

My advice would be to buy from opticians. At least you have someone to contact if the prescription or the glasses are incorrect.

With Online Glassess Direct they blame the Optometrist and the Optometrist blames Online Galsses Direct with you in the middle.

Pay the extra money and go to an Opticians.

After reading some reviews on here I thought I'd take the gamble and order my next set of specs over the internet. I'd already seen the frame I wanted in Boots opticians. It certainly paid off as Boots were going to charge me almost double for what I paid with onlineglassesdirect.co.uk - In the end I saved an amazing £134 by ordering the same glasses online.

Called this company up just before Christmas to tell of my woes about my glasses being dropped and one of the lenses breaking. Although it was a varifocal, they managed to get the lens replaced and back to me in time for the festivities. I also paid a fraction of what my optician would have charged me. Very impressed!

Having ordered some very complex varifocal glasses of the Carl Zeiss kind, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived at my door 8 days later. Service and communication was exemplary. I also managed to save a small fortune by purchasing them online. Bravo to Online Glasses Direct!

They managed to make me some Varilux thinned down varifocals that change with the light for under £200. Specsavers wanted to charge me £350 for these!! Great service and they always promptly replied to any emails sent. Got them made and delivered well within quoted timescale.

After I called them to explain I'd stood on my only pair of varifocal glasses, the girl sympathised with me and offered me a FREE pair of emergancy reading glasses whilst they made me a new pair of varifocal glasses. Just want to say a big, big thank you for looking after me.

Ordered some Nikon varifocal lenses as they were advertised at half the price my optician wanted me to pay. I decided to have them fitted into my frame to save more money. Whilst the lenses are fantastic, it took almost 2 weeks for my new glasses to arrive. Apart from that, I'm very happy with the glasses and price of the lenses.

I needed some replacement glasses after mine broke and they managed to get the frame I wanted even though they did not list them on their website. I got the glasses with free lenses delivered to my door 4 days later and they didn't even charge a delivery fee. The glasses are excellent quality and I'll definately use them again if my prescription changes.
