Avoid

A month ago they debited my account but no glasses have arrived. No response to my phone calls & emails. I have lost a considerable amount of money & despite already having AMD cannot afford sun protection at the moment.

Not What They Seem To Be- Flash Website But Little Else

I was looking for something that had been withdrawn by the manufacturers.

I sent an e-mail to the company and they responded within the day saying they had it in stock- I though it may be deadstock , so I ordered it.

Within a few days they sent an e-mail saying it had been despatched. But then nothing.... They promised it would be with me within 48hrs or ordering.

I phoned within the week - but both their numbers cut off.

I e-mailed a number of time, but unlike before they did not replay.

I took it up with Paypal and they refunded me within 24 hrs of me escalating it to a claim. SO I wonder if they know about this retailer.

I wish I had looked at previous reviews of this company before ordering as this seems to have happened before. Their website if flash- DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE!

Didnt Call Them But Got My Prescription Glasses Within Days

I didnt need to call them but felt only fair to say i ordered some prescription glasses which other people quoted a couple of weeks for and they took literally 5 or 6 days.

They had the best prices i could find a clear website and did everything they said they would so i cant complain and would recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service, They Don't Know The Meaning Of It...

This company might have a nice flashy website, but it would appear to be an operation run by just one person.

In March 2012 I ordered a pair of Smith I/O ski goggles that arrived promptly (no complaints there). On opening them it was evident that although the goggles were meant to come with two lenses this pair had actually only been supplied with one.

I contacted iOptix immediately via email but didn't get a response. So I contacted them via the contact form on the website, again I heard nothing.

I tried ringing several times but never got an answer. Eventually after two weeks I did get through to speak to somebody, who seemed to be on a mobile and in a vehicle (judging by the amount of background noise).

I was told that he had contacted Smith in the United States who were going to send the new lens right away. He said he was expecting delivery that week and would let me know when it arrived.

The call never came, so I left it another fortnight and tried to get in touch again. No emails answered, phone calls ignored, until just like the last time, on one occasion I spoke to somebody on a mobile that sounded to be in a vehicle. He was still awaiting the delivery from Smith and would definitely let me know when he'd received the lens.

This went on and on, right through the summer, when his excuse was the as it was now way past the end of the ski season Smith wouldn't have any lenses in stock, so I'd have to wait until the new goggles came out in August/September time. I'm not sure what happened to the lens he is meant to have been receiving when I originally contacted him...

August came and went so did September, still no lens. So, just like the previous times I tried to get in touch… I did eventually get a second lens - in December, the week before I was due to go skiing. The only thing being, it was the wrong lens! I was meant to receive a blue lens, but received a clear one. The packaging was extremely poor, just a plain jiffy bag, hence then box was all squashed.

I returned that lens immediately (repackaged in a sturdy box and via Recorded Delivery so I knew it had been received the other end. It was signed for and so I know it has been received).

It is now the end of January and I have not heard a dickie bird. No answers to emails, no answering the phone. Nothing. Consequently I am still awaiting the second lens that was supposed to have been supplied with my googles.

Here we are nearly a whole year down the line and I am no closer to a resolution than I was when I originally received the goggles. Apalling.

During this whole sorry episode I have had not one iota of correspondence. I rue the day I ever gave this company my money.

iOptix may be fine providing you receive your goods and there is nothing wrong with them, however if there are issues with the items you've received then this is where you may have problems.

I'm not sure how anybody, let alone one that allegedly sponsors "Nottingham Panthers" can run a business in this manner.

I can honestly say I shall never, ever use them again.

It's A Ghost Company Where Phone Doesn't Work And Nobody Ans

I've had the worst customer care experience!

It's been impossible to talk to someone. And I had to go to facebook to get some attention. They sent me the goggles but they didn't correct astigmatism. I sent them back and still nobody to talk to and find out what happens. It's been very frustrating! Definitely don't recommend!

Hard To Find Lenses

I was looking for replacement lenses for my Adidas EvilEye glasses, iOptix had a great selection . Hese are hard to find. Service was first class. It felt like that round the corner experience from an online seller. Perfect.

Better Than The Rest

Having ordered sports glasses on the net for the last 10 years I decided to try ioptix after the last on-line retailer let me down with delivery. I ordered the glasses, unexpectedly in stock, and received confirmation of the delivery status each step of the way.

Looking forward to using them again!
