Ordered spex. Never came. Never got my refund. Have been chasing for months but not a single response. Digusting company

I ordered a pair of rimless prescription distance glasses from this company on 1st December 2016. I paid by PayPal I received confirmation from both of my order straight away.

On 9th December I received a text from Glasses Experts saying they have the frame (what frame!!!) in stock and that it would be moved from the warehouse to the Laboratory. After that I started checking the status of my order on their website and week after week all it was saying was "processing".

After hearing nothing from them I started trying to contact them through their website contact form then by email with no response from either. I then tried phoning them and all I got was what sounded like an engaged tone. In the end I contacted Paypal and started a case with them, this was on 5th January 2017. Paypal contacted me later to say they had sent them a message and should receive a response from them.

On 11th January Glasses direct finally contacted me saying " we have received the lenses from our supplier for the frame, the order will be processed and dispatched ASAP."

And then finally on 16th January a package arrived by courier with the glasses inside. Horray!

Unless you are prepared for a long wait avoid using this firm and if you do use them, use Paypal to pay them as I beleive if I hadn't raised a case with them I would still be waiting now.

The company were quick to take my money and confirm my order, but invisible when I came to track my order. Their Customer Helpline is out of order, their Customer live chat system is 'offline', their Sales email address is 'not found', their name is not showing at companies house. They have clearly gone OUT OF BUSINESS but are still taking customer money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The upshot is they are operating under false presences and taking money. I am about to report them to the Optical Ombudsman agencies

These people do not give a a damn, if you have a problem with their glasses they just ignore your emails etc. would not recommend at all steer clear at all cost.

I ordered a pair of glasses from their range, in a large size,138mm across. The glasses I received would not fit my 8 year old Granddaughter. I sent a photo with my Boots 138mm glasses & theirs to show the huge difference in size between the two pairs. Glasses Experts.co asked me to send them back to be" examined in their Lab" & after a couple of weeks agreed to refund me in full.

I'M STILL TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO THEM !!! Weeks & Weeks Later, No refund .No contact.

Try someone else who sell real glasses for adults.

I was a little anxious about ordering eyeglass frames online from this company b/c I saw some negative reviews, in addition to positive ones. I checked out other online eyeglass sites though and saw similar wildly conflicting reviews, so I just decided to take a chance. I figured there can be bogus reviews, both good and bad, on the internet, so how do you know for sure? I originally ordered 4 pairs of eyeglass frames from glassesexperts.co.uk, but was able to cancel 2 of them before my order had been fully processed. The phone number given on the email confirmation did work and customer service was courteous and helpful. They replied to every email I sent in a timely manner. Moreover, even though I was a little beyond the 24-hour cancellation period, they did not charge a restocking fee (lenses for the 2 glasses I cancelled had not yet been ordered from the supplier when I called). I did receive the correct credit to my PayPal in less than 48 hours. glassesexperts.co.uk graciously sent the 2 remaining frames via DPD at no extra charge, and I got them 10 days after I placed my order. There was a tracking number, which gave me more peace of mind. I received both frames in perfect condition. I chose the one that suited me best and sent the other pair back. I would definitely order from this company again when I need new frames and have no hesitation recommending them.

I got some amazing glasses on the internet because I couldn't find them anywhere was. I found them on glassesexperts, I took the chance and ordered them with out trying them on. What more can I say than I love them.

I recently ordered two pairs of reading glasses, both pairs were as described and good quality.

My only issue was that one of the glasses cases was in poor condition when I received it (the inner lining was distorted and detached from the outer case). I emailed glassesexperts customer services, they apologized and sent a replacement immediately. I experienced a very good standard of service throughout the process and would use them again without hesitation.

Required my first ever prescription for some driving glasses. Online ordering and payment was straight forward and prices (including lens coatings etc.) were excellent. Constantly kept informed regarding the status of my order and once dispatched arrived promptly and in the allotted delivery time window. Would highly recommend.

My glasses arrived in just over 6 days. I had a chat with a representative when ordering the glasses as well as receiving a friendly follow up text before they were shipped - both were very helpful and professional. My glasses arrived in perfect condition and I could not be happier with both my purchase and experience with glassesexperts.
