No notification of the blackout from this company or the new owners I have heard of. Despite what the new owners have said at the head of these reviews they will accept no responsibility for what UKWebHosting have done. No recommendation for the new company either from me.

No point in-advising people to not take out hosting with this organization as they appear to have vanished off the face of the earth in my experienece?

I was just lucky that my domain registration was with another company, and was able to transfer everything in the course of 24 hours, but not without a lot of time and effort in my opinion.

I believe these people use dedicated servers from another host but eventually stop paying for them. They just sell off pieces of these server(s) but when they stop paying you lose everything as far as I am concerned therefore I do not recommend www.ukwebhosting.co.uk.

I had two sites hosted by this firm and having been trying to contact them with various questions over the last month I am still receiving the silent treatment from customer service. It might be cheap but I would stay away. I am now in the process of moving all sites to another hosting firm.

I have been trying to contact someone there (anyone) since 11th Jan 2008 and haven't had a response so far. I email or send a support ticket most days and have even left voicemails as one of my websites was running out and I couldn't extend it for reasons unknown. I have now been able to renew that website domain but it isn't working and hasn't been for a month. Now for the last 2 days, my other website is down and my emails don't work. I continue to send emails from my private email address, but still no-one is getting back to me.I will definitely change hosting companies and tell anyone I know not to go to UK:WEB.

I have several web sites with UKwebhosting and have found that since the new managment from Jan 2007 I have been informed of any maintenance issuse's and or hosting problems in a professional and timely manner. I do recommend UK Web to freinds who want to start their own sites.

This company have taken my money and given me nothing in return. I thought that I had been ripped off so I did a little digging. I found out that the owner (or someone he has already sold it to?) is trying to sell the business. This is why he has been difficult to contact (as if it was ever easy).

I decided to use this company to host some small charity sites I have constructed but it turned out to be a very bad decision. Domain names were not registered to either myself or the charity concerned. There is little or no backup service, e-mails and phone calls are not answered and, worse than that, there were endless problems caused by UKWEB group themselves. They also took a payment for a domain name which was then not registered!

All in all, a hosting company to avoid.

Everything is bad - I was Hosting 10s of domains with UK Web Hosting and they are simply rubbish.

A Big NO NO NO

I ordered from these as it was cheap and they claimed to have Control Panel. This Control Panel turned out to be one they have made themselves, which is very hard to navigate. The support also takes at least 3 or 4 days to reply to any questions you have.When I asked for a refund, the Managing Director replied with a very insulting Email. I am still waiting for that refund 4 months on. They also refuse to reply to any emails I send them.Once I get time, I will be taking this company to court.

Still a very poor service from webhostinguk. Notice their own review on here where They give themselves a 10! Cant this be removed?? I have a Virtual dedicated server vps and pay for 4 dedicated ip's. The vps is super super slow, which they blame on other people, and now the server has broken and my site has been down for over a day.

So they are changing my server, changing my ip, and haven't done it yet. I will lose my google rankings, my income for now, and will have a new ip address for my site when and if they fix it.

Absolutely pathetic, do not use webhosting.uk.com
