The Worst Company Ever! The Indians They Are Using
The worst company ever! The Indians they are using with these common funny US / UK names and family names will never help you to resolve your issue! They are just emailing the owner who probably taking our money doeing absolutely nothing as he is probably has hired the service of an INDIAN CALL CENTRE AND SOME SERVICES DOWN THERE AND HE TAKES THE MONEY OF ALL OF US!
They suspended my hotel's web site with a reson with the pickest of the season. 2 days now i have not found a solution i pay per click and my potential customers being redirected to their web site!

Startlogic Took My Money Without Notifying Me And
Startlogic took my money without notifying me and then charged me $35 dollars to CANCEL my subscription!
Last week I noticed that $85 had been taken out of my bank account by Startlogic. I called to ask them why and they said it was for website hosting. The website they say they were "hosting" hadn't been active in over a year. I don't remember having signed up with them but with the information they had on my email address and other info, I felt that if I disputed it, I would lose. So after about 45 minutes of trying to get them to refund the $85 dollars, I finally gave up and told them to take the damn $35 cancellation fee and give me back the rest of my money. I did not receive any emails from Startlogic saying that my site was up for renewal and that they would be automatically taking money from my bank account. Unlike other website services that I have used, they don't seem to think this courtesy is necessary.I also can't believe Startlogic charges a cancellation fee! The guy on the phone told me that it's clearly stated in the agreement when I signed up. Although it isn't listed ANYWHERE on there website policies. I can only assume its listed in really tiny print in some obscure place that no one ever reads.
I Will Discontinue To Use Start Logic Www.startlog
I will discontinue to use Start Logic www.startlogic.com soon. I would clearly advise anybody to avoid such a hosting service. - Ticket Response time is very long (in days instead of minutes)
- Server is frequently down or having problems, no prior notice is given for maintenance.
- Support team can be rude when you call them, even if they cannot help they put the blame on the client and literally ask us to get lost.
- Uses vDeck instead of cPanel and not well-functional. Had a recent migration to another platform and data was lost.
I Find It Impossible To Get Through To Tech Suppor
I find it impossible to get through to tech support via telephone. You never hear from the same techs twice, and when you do, they do not know how to help me with my problem in my opinion. I signed up at the end of January, and it is now the beginning of Feb, and still my domain has not been registered, and nothing is up and running.
I would not chose Start Logic again, and now I begin the fight to get my money back.

While their price may be attractive, they just "transitioned" to a new platform, which has been disastrous for end users. As far as I am aware they not dont have people's emails, sent items etc, and have offered no explanation or compensation. It takes hours to get through and deal with tech support, and then you wait through a series of referrals that takes days, only to call back and wait hours on the phone again. There is better out there. You are a person, not some #, and deserve MUCH BETTER. I cannot stress how frustrating my (and several of my colleagues) experience has been with this company. There is no cost savings that can account for what Startlogic has put us through. I do not recommend Start Logic.

I have used Startlogic since January 2003. Initially they has excellent support with short phone wait times. Since 2006 their wait times have increased and customer service decreased. I rented a dedicated server from wthem in 2007 and had 40 customers on it when it aburptly ceased to work. Online and chat support were unable to help and it took 4 days for email to be answered and they never solved the problem. I am in the process of moving almost 100 of my customers to Blue Genesis Hosting.

In my experinece it has taken an average of 45 minutes to get someone on the phone, and then they can only create a ticket to be researched by someone else. Very unhelpful, dont recommend Start Logic, use a different Web Hosting Company in my opinion.

I Have Come Across This Site Whilst Looking For A
I have come across this site whilst looking for a new hosting company to replace Satrtlogic. I have now been unable to access my mail server for over 2 weeks despite frequent emails and the use of their "live chat". It seems to be impossible to talk to anyone who actually has any knowledge. Their live chat seems to be outsourced. They are good at giving platitudes but not at getting anything done. They neven told me that they would email me with some information using the email address that I had just told them I couldn't access!

I Have Been Very Satisfied With Startlogic.
I have been very satisfied with StartLogic.
The price was about GBP50 / year for 5Gb of space and more-than-adequate transfer limits for personal/non-proffessional use.
I looks like they have increased the disk space to 15Gb now. It came with all the usual goodies: PHP / CGI / MySQL / POP3 and all driven by a nice easy control panel - vdeck.
I will be renewing again this year.
