Got 5 websites with servage n this is def the best provider i ever had! no probs and no cons! the support is great and u get informed about everything which is going on via fb,twitter,g+. really nice customer service imo! the price is great anyways and the features are really cool. i am not missing cpanel at all cuz their controlpanel is good as well. also they have a hidden backup service via their webdrive which is also good cuz many hosts are more expensive and offer crappy backup service or extra cost when u want backup service. they have presale support so u can ask everything before comitting.

so check it our or leave it (but then u will miss a pretty good host)

I have been with servage for 3 yrs now and I never had any problems. They have great features, an awesome price, good support and good uptime! No hacking for me because I keep my website secure by updates and password changes and the servers of servage have not been hacked as long as I have been with them. Tech support is ver friendly and helpful, no copy paste and excellent help also via facebook. Uptime was good as well and they are even IPv6 supporters. You can also do back-ups via their webdrive. Only thing I miss is something like a live chat or support hotline so yyou would get somekind of live support.

Go for servage!

My bank account automatically had money taken out of it for a further 14 months of web hosting I didn't want. No warning was given that the term was coming to the end and it would need to be renewed. No telephone number to call to discuss it, only a rather poorly worded email which said I could cancel the account now and it wouldn't be renewed in 14 months time. Very bad and impersonal customer service. An automated reminder about the term ending would have avoided this but then I'm sure they must earn a fair bit by collecting money this way. It is a pity they feel they have to hang onto a 14month subscription even when I'm not using the service. Be aware. I wouldn't use Servage again for this reason.

Over priced and is terrible for hosting forums, if you go with Servage and host forums be sure to get plenty of timeouts.

They do not have telephone support and their accounts have been known to have been hacked from time to time. Once I logged into someone elses account!

Avoid at all costs. You'll never get a refund!

My websites got hacked multiple times. Only got to know, when Google itself alerted me.

Worst part: They don't have any contact number.

May be a OK sort of host, but once you get an issue, mostly you need to look into them by yourself.

Real bad support. They may be friendly, but no solution. Only provide smart answers.

Servage is a hosting 'service' that is fundamentally flawed from the ground up.

I signed up for their hosting package about 6 weeks ago and have nothing but hassle since.

Firstly, they did not process my order. I emailed five times and even setup a new email account incase they where blocking my old one. Still got absolutely no response apart from a request to send my credit card details by email so they could process the order! Needless to say I told them I wouldn't be doing this as they already had all my information from my initial sign up.

I waited 10 days to see if I would get any kind of confirmation that my order had been processed and didn't receive a thing.

I decided enough was enough and sent them an email saying I was cancelling my order and not to take any payments from my credit card. I was extremely clear.

I happily went and found a great host (wesh.co.uk) and forgot all about the appalling 'service' at Servage.

Going through my credit card bill a week or so later I saw they had taken money for a years hosting service!

I promptly told my credit card supplier to charge it back as I had never received any information on how to go about logging in to my hosting account despite numerous emails to Servage. Therefore, I had not received the service they where taking money for.

I got my money back and Servage have sent a few threatening emails. They also tell me to login to my account and raise a support ticket if I have a problem, which is ridiculous because they still haven't supplied me with any loign details despite me asking at least 10 times.

To make matters worse they have no phone number so unless you can login to your account and raise a ticket (which they haven't given me the information to do) I cannot even explain the probelm to them as all my emails to their general address have gone unanswered.

In my opinion they honestly only care about getting your money and couldn't care less about their customers.

The whole episode has left me sick to the stomache that companies like this are allowed to operate.

Avoid Servage like a plague ridden rat.

Poor customer service at Servage, slow MYSQL databases (almost un-usable at times), FTP disconnects you very quickly and becomes annoying when you keep having to reconnect. The control panel is fairly standard and it seems as though they are overselling.

I wouldn't recommend Servage to anyone who wants a fast and reliable host because servage are not fast or reliable.

Been with Servgage 16 months. OK experience until recently. My sites are being hacked and malicious code added. This is partly my fault, but partly Servage low security.

I'm now over 2 years a servage customer and the support is generously good the answering very fast and if there is a bigger problem they working on it to resolve the problem asap. The price ins very cheap and the control panel is easy for beginners. My feeling is that they working continuously on their systems to make it better and better. For me it is perfect! Good points are good support, easy to control, new websitebuilder as wysiwyg, cheap, hundrets of mysql db 's without a limitation and unlimited email accounts and 720 Gb Backupspace. Often slow database but it seems it would be better :-)

Servage had very poor customer service - emails come fast, but with innadequate replies. The typical reply comes half an hour later on a 15 minute daily outage "We have tested it and its fine." or if you press the issue: "We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have tested it now and it is fine." We love you, thanks for your money, please go away now? Or sometimes "please try moving your database/website to a new server by setting it up (all over again)"If you're a database user with greater than hobbyist needs, forget it. Your database will go away for several minutes each day... If you run an online store such as zen-cart, forget it. Enough of your users will get chucked out or delayed in the service long enough to shop elsewhere.Servage offer every feature under the sun. That is, lots of things you want but dont get noticed. But there's ruby on rails and zend and all sorts of twinkly candy if you want it and can wait for it to appear!All in all, a good cheap hobbyist host. You could pronably run a huge, static (non databased) information site on here and be happy forever. If you need simple databased, dynamic content server - on time - every time, then avoid servage like the plague,
