I've had over a dozen servers with rapidswitch in last 8 years and was always happy with the support.

Lately this company has taken a huge dive in quality of service. The support staff just don't seem to care any more. It got so bad lately that we have moved all our servers off Rapidswitch and closed the account.

I would strongly recommend not using this company to host any systems you care about. They certainly won't!

I was shopping around for a new dedicated server about 2-3 weeks ago and couldn't settle on a company, so carried on looking. I then came across RapidSwitch and noticed they were offering a free Xbox one. I'm more of a PlayStation fan, but the offer still appealed to me as my brothers always been Xbox. I initially spoke to someone on their chat service on the website who was beyond helpful. He explained all of the configuration options when I was selecting my package in a way I could really understand (such as comparing Windows server 2008 to Windows 7 & Windows server 2012 to Windows 8) which made choosing my perfect server incredibly easy.

Since purchasing the server, I've only had one issue (partly down to my inexperience with dedicated servers) and RapidSwitch managed to fix it for me in less than an hour from me submitting the ticket. They also explained how it had happened, what I could do to avoid it in the future and told me to come back to them with any further issues I had. The service is phenomenal.

The actual server I've purchased is relatively low budget (less than £100 per month) which is cheap as far as these servers come. But the speed of the connection is usually 94.8mbps download and 94.6mbps upload speed - which has made me one very happy bunny!! Especially as I'm used to using 1-5mbps download and less than 1mbps upload. I can't believe the difference it has made to my workload!!

Further to this I received my free Xbox one last night (much to my brothers dismay as he paid retail for his). Both my brother & mates were expecting me to have been ripped off as the offer sounded too good to be true. But RapidSwitch delivered.

Overall my experience with this company so far has been nothing short of exceptional. I'm ecstatic with the server, I'm overjoyed with the service & I can't believe I got a free Xbox one (delivered in a little over a week)!! Thank you RapidSwitch. I've now got another friend signing up with you at the start of December and I'm also getting my employer to sign up with you as he was also astounded at the hardware capabilities.

If you can afford the little extra they ask - I would say look no further than these guys because they make up for it across the board. If review centre allowed me to upload a photo - I'd happily upload one of me and my new shiny Xbox - along with my dedicated server speed test results from various servers across the globe as the results far exceed my expectations.

The best Datacentre company we have EVER worked with. Simple. Their support is second to none. Its truly 24/7. I.e I can call 2am saturday and speak with someone standing next to our server.

There uptime is brilliant. Cost is expensive. But you truly get what you pay for.

I'd highly highly recommend them. Many a times we have been with other Datacentres when things go wrong and we then realise that they are the wrong DC for support (read my review of OVH.COM). When things go wrong. Rapidswitch Perform. They have a great international network with very low latency.
