First Of All I Want To Point Out That There Suppor
First of all I want to point out that there support is the worst support I have EVER had, I sent them a email, 2 WEEKS later I recieved a email back and they didn't even fix it when they said they did. Now my cpanel is screwed up, along with my FTP, and there so bad they don't even know how to fix it. Anyways in my opinion they are very slow and VERY independent. Dont recommned Prolink Hosting...

After 3 Great Years With Prolink Hosting, The Past
After 3 great years with Prolink Hosting, the past few weeks have been rough. They are slow to respond however I did get a very detailed reply! Apparently they were switching to a new datacenter and moved over 40 servers. The new servers are apparently faster. All of my sites are loading again and it does seem a bit faster... so hope everything is good now.

Prolink Hosting are a great web hosting company. Up time is very dependable. I use about 1.5Gb and I get a lot of hits. $9.69 for the whole year. It cannot be beaten! It is inexpensive and there are no limits. The only problem I have had is that they can be a little bit slow to resolve any problems.

I was skeptical of Prolink Hosting, but I have to say they are the best budget host around. Great server speed and uptime, but on the bad side very slow support response time if you have questions.

I Spent Considerable Time Designing My Site And Pa
I spent considerable time designing my site and paid the $9.96/year for the Prolink Hosting unlimited account. My site is a photography site so I had most of my photos on it. According to my cpanel, I was using 3.5GB of disk space and 4GB of bandwidth for the first month. Now remember, I paid for unlimited service. After a month my account is suspended with no warning. When I emailed, I was told that they could no longer host my site for stability reasons; no other explanation was given. I have read several reviews that said the exact same thing, but really didn't think anything of them which I guess I really should have listened. The cost of unlimited hosting is very tempting, but beware that your site might be suspended for no reason. And the funny thing was that my site hasn't even had more than 1000 hits in little over a month it was up and running.
I have a site there too. I got suspended too because I surpassed the 10% CPU usage. This is clear their terms of service.
I was testing their server to see how long I could sustain uploads over a two day period. I uploaded well over 20GBS of files. Three days later, I was not only suspended but my account was going to be close.
I emailed support and told them what I had done, not quite as candid as I am being here, but that I had uploaded a ton of files. The did not suspend my service nor close me down. The said beware not to do that again.
So bottom line, your photography is probably requiring you to upload many megs over a few days period, if not lots of gigs. If this is so, then you are eating up your own bandwidth. Your hits mean nothing.
Though there is no way of knowing whether or not you are using 10% of their CPU at any give moment, it is wise not to over-do your own uploads. Keep it to a few hundred megs over the course of a week. You'll be fine.
All in all, they have a the least expensive service on the Internet. I have shared this information with professional webmasters and amateurs like myself. We feel we got one hell of deal here, and we can only hope that by jumping onto the bandwagon early, since whoever "they" are that started Prolinkhosing about 3 year ago, will be in business indefinitely or sell the company to a corporation that will continue to astound us with the best price on the Web.

I Have Been With Prolink Hosting For Close To A Ye
I have been with Prolink Hosting for close to a year and am very happy with my service. I now have 9 accounts with them and each is only $9.69 per year!! You cannot beat their prices! Their support time isn't the fastest around, but for the price it is the best!
