Pandela advertised a free basic hosting to try their service and hosting. I figured I would give it a try as I wanted to make a mockup of the website before going live with it. I setup a small basic perl script for classified ads and was working on the html pages and style. I haven't even put any ads up online or started with the site live. It was up for about a week and Pandela closed the site down. Their reason for closing it, was that it was using too much bandwidth from their servers and they said that I could switch to their paid hosting.I had also lost all my "weeks" work as I couldn't recover it from the server. What a total waste of time using Pandela for me. I guess it just shows that nothing is for free... I do not recommend this web hosting company, Pandela.
