The owner of this host owes my in excess of £100 for losing the domain and further costs (going into the thousands for lost business, re setup fees)

they took my money for a domain and told me it had been renewed until 2020.

this hasn't been done, I lost the domain and he isn't bothered.

The owner will soon be hearing from my solicitors.

He took my money and didn't supply requested goods.

Had good service for a number of years but without any warning the server lost connection to the network. No replies to requests for support. Got some refund via PayPal. I strongly advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

I had been with Northhost 3 years ago before they had merged companies and they were good but last year October 2017 i registered again with them and found out they gladly accepted my payments. My domain name i registered with meticulously is still available with nominet and a large Pending is still next my domain status after nearly 5 months.

All the communication seems to be down, support tickets are all ignored, cpanel seems to work but without the domain name i supposedly registered for still not available, all my emails and website is really a bunch of scripts i spent days working on. Cpanel has strangely allowed me to create email addresses with a domain name that is not registered but thats kind of useless anyway.

I would avoid Northhost and all their affiliates until the proverbial monkey has managed to figure out how to write Shakespeare.

Other than my honest review of Northhost i suppose they maybe nice people to have a chat about the weather with while waiting for a bus to find another hosting company.

I have had a server hosted with NorthHosts for around a year.. All seemed fairly well until recently after renewing for another year.

When I first joined they told me I was spamming their service / DDOSing them... This was before I had even gotten into the client area nevermind even setup anything on the server...

Now, I cannot access any of the online services including the client area and the server that I have hosted. After submitting a ticket I have had no replies apart from getting spammed with "Thank you for your ticket, this is being forwarded to the appropriate admin.".

I would definitely avoid this company!!!

I have a few domains hosted with northhosts a couple of which are up for renewal at the end of the month I have not been able to access my c panel or WordPress adming for these sites as they say my email address does not exist. Send five support tickets for same subject and they just keep getting closed down with no response. This guy sold his clients out before and it looks like he is doing again avoid at all costs.

I am getting close to the expiration date for my hosting account, so I asked a question about pricing. Not only was I ignored, but they immediately shut my account down. It makes sense after you see that they are pretty much bankrupt:

I paid for domain renewal for 5 years and their system show up as me having paid but got sent messages from Nominet that my domain has expired. Looks like they take the cash but don't actually pay for the renewal.

Even if it is just a bug on their system, they don't actually reply to any of my messages.

I've wasted my cash on them but I hope my review will stop others from wasting theirs.
