Fast Reliable, Straightforward
I've used Joker for close to 10 years for my domain name purchasing and hosting. They've been extremely reliable over that time and continue to spend money improving their web interface. While like many technical companies they could still improve some of the user experience aspects of their service, they really do provide great value, transparency and ease of use. If you've ever had to quickly validate a domain with txt records or other sorts of quick and dirty domain modifications you will appreciate their clean and hard to make mistakes with domain management console.

Absolutely Useless - Don't Touch Them
WE have our domain names with webfusion. However our main domain name is held with joker.com through a company called xcalibre who are also owned by webfusion. Our website has been down for 2 weeks due to the fact that joker.com can not sort out what the technical issue is and why our domain has expired despite being paid for. They are not responding to emails from us, xcalibre or websfusion WE are a small pet product design company and 95% of our orders come through our website and we have not had any orders for 2 weeks!. This could in effect ruin our business after nearly 14 years of trading! Noone seems to know what is going on and in the meantime we are losing money hand over fist. We will be taking legal action.

I Have Used This Germany Based Site From Many Year
I have used this Germany based site from many years to register and host .com, .net and .info domains. Joker web hosting is a good price, and they offer a full set of services, including fully configurable DNS hosting and web/email forwarding. The only negative problem I have ever had with them is a small error in being charged the incorrect tax because of a confusing form; a problem that has not been fixed.
I have used over 20 registrars and Joker.com are by far the worst.
I have written over 20 emails and faxes, as well as tried to make countless phone calls, and the registrar has failed to get back to me.
What a joke of a company.
