3 reasons to avoid fastvision:

1. hidden cost: For each domain to be transferred away from fastvision, you need to pay 10 pounds + vat.

2. email service sucks: If you want to send newsletter to lots of customers, you will have PROBLEMS with their email service.

3. Terrible customer service (the biggest reason to stay away from fastvision) : It seems there is only one staff working in the company. He is the only one that replys support tickets. It takes him a long time to respond and he is so rude when responding. It makes me feel like I have to kiss his ass in order to get simple tasks done.

I would pay a few more pounds to get a better hosting company just so I don't have to beg every time I contact them.

I thought I would write a review of my last three weeks with fastvision. I came across from another hosting company who claimed they were based in the UK, however turned out to be in america, when I questioned this they were dodging the question.

My friend who is an IT technician used fastvision and recommend them as he knows they are based in the UK and have been around for over 10 years, which he says is good in the industry.

I've called them on several occasions and have had nothing but accurate and concise answers, they helped me get my web publishing software working with the hosting and email setup - no complaints here.

We moved to FASTVISION hosting from another provider trying to reduce costs.

The service is terrible and they have not got a clue. Ring and they are simply put horrible.

I carried out some research and found that they have been clever in posting reviews to make them look good and they are a very small business with only a handful of staff.

I have just left them and hope I now get a better service with the new company, it can't be any worse.

I would recommend you do some research before using them also.

As a complete beginner to the website game I can't tell you how invaluable it was to have a support department that could talk me through things step by step - I would have been COMPLETELY lost without their help. Now I am up and running I would say to everybody who thinks setting up a website will be too complicated to go for fastvision - excellent value too and they never once got frustrated by all my silly questions!

Moved to fastvision last week after having a nightmare with an american hosting provider who think they are the daddies - they are not, fastvision are! If you are a uk business looking to host a professional website give fastvision a go they will not disappoint in my experience.

We are a registered UK charity and I moved our charity's websites to FastVision just on a week ago and I just cannot believe the incredible service that these people give and the difference that this has made to our lives. We decided to go for their reseller packapge.

On the first day we picked up a small problem with an error message which kept recurring and one phone call to their support department did it! They systematically worked through the problem non-stop for over 14 hours only to discover that it was my fault in any case for not copying all the files over from our previous provider in an obscure directory - and guess what they were still friendly and helpful after all that!

Support tickets are responded to within minutes - even at odd hours of the night and it's a real pleasure to speak to real home-based people who really understand your issue when you call up! I am really blown away by their amazing attitude to be honest!

Besides the service we find their servers to be fast and always up. We will be moving more of our domains in the next few days.

Highly recommended!

I am SO glad we moved away from eukHost.com where we were forced to deal with people who don't understand our issues most of the time, but more seriously, their terrible authoritarian attitude to their shared servers was what caused us to look for another provider!

We use Fastvision to host our email service. All I can say is that I think the technical support and the service is first class. Whenever you need to contact support you get a reply back within a few minutes. Unlike some companies that take up to 24hrs (or more) to respond, you can easily resolve any issues you have quickly and efficiently. I have never had any problems logging on to the control panel or the webmail (unlike other reviews seem to state). I wish I had discovered Fastvision before I signed up for new web hosting with another company, but will certainly keep them in mind when it comes time to renew our web hosting too. Excellent work guys on a great service - keep up the good work!

All I really care about when it comes to web hosting is uk support and servers, which is why I picked FastVision. They are very quick at responding to support issues and they talk my language!!
