I first came across End Design about 10 years ago, when I was looking for a copy of Actinic shop software

I decided to buy it from End Design because they did offer it at a good price

Whilst placing my order, they told me they also offered hosting but at the time I was quite happy with Titan Internet, but always kept their details to hand

As you can see from my previous review, I became ever more disappointed with Titan after the Easyspace take-over and in December 2012, I decide to give End Design a call, and I was very glad that I did

Their prices are a little more expensive than Titan, but the level of service warrants the price

I was told very clearly that moving a web site to a new host can often be problematical and that I could expect a few days disruption

It might not be the best sales pitch, but better to be told the truth before you pay your money, than to pay the money, not knowing that there could be problems

End Design don't often instant accounts ordered via the Web, it has to be done on the 'phone and I think that's very good as it probably helps keep spammers at bay and I was given some very good un-biased advice as to whether my .co.uk and .com domains should be registered with End Design or a third party

I was also given excellent advice regarding my SSL Certificate

Once the web space is set up, you're given access to a cpanel which offers an awful lot of control over the webspace and is very easy to use

Once my on-line shop was uploaded to the End design system, and they had taken my ipstag, it took about 3 days for everything to return to normal

I did have a few queries during the first couple of days which were answered very quickly via e-mail and once things had settled down, I actually found I was getting more site visitors than before the move

I think this is because the old Easyspace hosting was sort of a sub let off a sub let off a sub let and this caused my site not to be visible to all parts of the world at all times

When I came to test my site with the new hosting, I was pleasantly surprised to find it loaded much quicker than the Easyspace system

Checking site visitors is easy too - within the cpanel you have access to very comprehensive web logs

So, if you're looking for hosting that actually works, with UK based support via e-mail or on the 'phone, if you need it, why not give End design a call ?

They actually use a standard geo telephone number, so they're not raking in a profit from 0844 or 0871 numbers - unlike many others do these days
