An Acquaintance Just Got Landed With A Hosting Pac
An acquaintance just got landed with a hosting package at Domaincheck by a local web designer. The web designer ended up not finishing, and I was asked to sort out the mess.
I find it quite incredible that at £60 per year, Domaincheck's basic package doesn't even include something as basic as a mySQL database. If you want one of those, you have to "upgrade" to their business hosting (£100 p.s. plus VAT) and then pay an additional £20 per year (plus VAT) per database.
They are also charging almost £15 per year (£12.50 plus VAT) to register .co.uk domains, when the going rate is more like £5 per year.
If you like paying over the odds, then you might enjoy hosting your website with these.
