ASP-Host is one of the small number of web hosts that automatically renew the annual contract and send invoices and threatening emails. I used then for about 3 months, moved on to a far better host then 1 month after the anniversarry I started to get a series of invoices, now they are threatening to send details to a debt collection agency. I have repeatedly emailed to cancel, none were acknowledged, when I finally got a response, they said I hadn't been in contact! If this automatic renewal was legitimate, they would send a notification prior to the point where they said you had to cancel or not. Their record keeping is awful, one site I hosted with them went down, I had to convince them that they were the hosts as they said it wasn't on their system. I have since emailed to cancel all hosting with them though I can see this will be an ongoing problem. I am now in correspondence with the Trading Standards people.
