As with another comment, I have used this hosting company for many years after they were recommended to me.

I have 3 websites hosted by them and some time ago I was asked to move my domain names from them as thay had found it no longer cost effective to provide this service. Two of my domain names were transferred to 123-Reg and I had no problems with the transfer. However, the other one was registered by a different company again with no problems. In January I decided to move this domain name to be with the others at 123-Reg for ease of managment. This is where the trouble started. Since then the website has been offline, despite puting the same nameservers in that I was originally supplied.

Both Nominet and 123-Reg have been helpful but said they can see that I have entered the details correctly and that there must be something wrong at the hosting company end.

I have tried every way I can think of to contact them, but as stated in the earlier review, there is no telephone number, and they never reply to emails or support tickets. The sad thing is, I paid online to remew the hosting for another year before this problem occurred and it seems I have got to forgo that and find another host.

So don't touch this company with a barge pole as the old saying goes.

COMPLETE SCAM, Zero stars!

This is a joke of a company, no customer service what so ever, no email or telephone number!

They stole £20 out of my account without any service!

Disgusted.

I'm starting a small business and a friend was already with 123.reg so I signed up. I picked a package that had quite a bit of space (but still limited) and traffic capability and also registered my domain through them.

24 hours later - the time they said to wait - it still hadn't been activated and worryingly my domain name was still available for purchase elsewhere. After 48 hours I contacted them and got a reply some hours later. The support tech sent me a generic form to fill in some 40 lines long (name address, domain name, etc - everything I'd filled in before basically) which I would have had to have cut'n'pasted and then manually edited line by line. Clearly they'd lost all the information I'd sent them and weren't bothered at all about me.

I cancelled immediately (they refunded my £77 within an hour, the only prompt and efficient thing they did in the whole process) I went with Hostpapa, and got the domain and site up and running within 10 minutes. BTW Hostpapa were £70 for an unlimited package. Lesson learned!

I am utterly disgusted with the non existent customer service of 123-hosting.co.uk I renewed my domain hosting package after a years satisfactory service. They have never sent me my login details so I am unable to access my ftp basically do anything with my website.

I have sent numerous emails via various addresses and have still yet to receive an email.

DO NOT under any circumstances use this service!
