I went with this company due to the reviews and quick and efficient communication.

I contacted the agent who was polite and professional he booked me in for a quote for a flat roof. He attended my address and we agreed a quote. It was stated that we would have a 25 year guarantee on the works.

His employee Dan completed the job late November I paid in full within 24 hours of the job being completed. Initially I was very pleased.

This soon turned into 4 months of hell for me and my husband.

Over Christmas the roof started leaking I requested for them to come out and look Nuvex left us for over a week with water pouring through our roof and electrics.

We had to shut our electrics off for nearly two weeks.

He suggested I get another roofer and or claim on my insurance.

I explained I shouldn’t have to do this as we had a guarantee.

He made many reasons why he could not attend over this period.

He sent Dan out who put a ground sheet up which pooled more water onto the roof.

They came out several times and it continued to leak.

Eventually our ceiling bowed and was unsafe to walk under and needed fully replacing he agreed to pay the cost however, this would be another hurdle.

He requested that I get a few quotes wasting my time further. Because when I found someone he questioned the price and he knew someone who could do it cheaper. However could not provide me with a date.

As you can imagine I just wanted this to be done and over so I stated I would pay the difference so we had the job completed. He stated he paid this days ago stating it could take up to 48 hours and just like I thought no payment was made. Whilst this was going on and I was contacting him as our newly plastered roof started leaking again and there has been radio silence from Nuvex roofing.

This has affected our lives for the last 4 months continuous stress and have to constantly chase a company on days and times of them coming to fix a roof we have a 25 year guarantee on that did not last a month.

So I’m now have a leaking roof that I will need to have done again.

Had to pay a plasterer in full for a roof that the roofers are liable for .

I also have mould growing in the room and the seal has gone on the double glazing due to the leak.

I wish I had never contacted this company. Communication was great when they were getting payment from us and then literally made us feel like we were burdening them when roof started to leak.

I do not know how people can sleep at night knowing they are not fulfilling a job that was paid for and that their job has affected our lives for the last few months.

Tiles removed, old battens & felt. Replace with new felt & battens. Old tiles replaced. All work was carried out efficiently. All old materials were removed from & the entire area left clean & tidy. The roofers were very courteous throughout the 2 days. ! or 2 queries I had during the time were answered fully & to my satisfaction. I would confidently recommend Nuvex Roofing.
