Used this for a while now. Signed up to the Pro version after a very hard sell. I specifically asked for them NOT to auto-renew my subscription (£100's!). Have received an email advising they are going to auto-renew my account shortly! I have tried to cancel - but there's no way of doing it online! You can't even change your card details (or remove them!) Their forum is loaded with people having the same problem if you search them.

Customer service is non-existent. Gave up on the phone after a half-hour of waiting!

I'll be sending a recorded delivery letter tomorrow to their UK address ordering them to cancel my account. If they bill me, I'll initiate a chargeback through my bank.

I really love LogMeIn. I have been using it for years working for a realtor. I have really gotten spoiled by having access to my desktop files everywhere I go. As long as I keep everything I need on my work computer, I can access items from everywhere. I have grown dependent on that! I use the pay service which is about $70 a year but I think you can fine a coupon code out there for another $10 off. They also have a free level and frankly, I used that for a couple years before I decided I wanted to be able to transfer files and create "file shares" which is especially convenient for files too big for email. Give them a try, it's logmein.com and they ROCK!!
