I had an annual policy with Tesco last year and did not need to claim, so I cannot comment on that side of things. I recently received a message saying that my policy would be automatically renewed but I needed to update my credit card details by ringing a phone number, as the old card had expired. However, when I did so, the person I spoke to said they could not just update my card details and the only way to do this was to renew the policy.
I went online to try to renew the policy but could see no way to do this and had to start all over again, applying for a new policy. I declared precisely the same medical conditions as last year but this time I was refused cover! Why???
Also, incidentally, the amounts I was quoted kept changing - ostensibly in my favour - although I hadn't provided any new information.
I shan't be bothering Tesco Travel Insurance again.
And incidentally, I couldn't changed the answer to the "Value for money" question below. "Fantastic" is not my choice. I think it was reasonable, however.
