After arriving and booking in.....we had to wait for the bus to go and come back for us, as only one bus operating, and there were 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children and our luggage.....hung around for 20minutes...Finally En Route to Airport and I was sat next to my 9year old grandson, as we went around the roundabout the heavy glass window fell out in its entirety on to his head....even though he initially screamed out and then cried, until I shouted at the driver to stop he just continued driving....Luckily other than a small bump and a lot of shock, there were no significant injuries. The driver at no time asked if he was ok, he just came and picked up the window and put it back in and asked if he had been touching it....I was furious but remained calm as it was the start of our holiday and did not want to upset further my grandson and the other children. I asked if he had an accident report book, but he told me no...............When he dropped us off, we asked if this was where we should wait to be collected and he confirmed yes.....Home after 8 days, and called after collected our luggage and told to make our way to the pick up point. After waiting 15 minutes we called again to ask how long it would be. We were told the driver had already been and picked up the customers waiting and that we had not been there, but that he would send him back again, after a further 10 minutes I called again as still no sign, it is now approx 12.20am and we have a 3 yr old, 9year old, 11year old, 16year old....He said the driver had been back and that we were not in the group of people waiting. I suggested that upon coming back the 3rd time could he possibly get the driver to ask for us by name and if we do not appear to be there to call the office and for them to contact us, after discussing this for approx 7 minutes on the mobile this was agreed to. AFter another 8 minutes a minibus with the name Premier Parking in large letters across the front pulled up in the parking bay opposite to where we were waiting arrived....he seemed to be looking around, so I ran across the road and asked if he was also Airport Carparkz, he confirmed yes....I told him to not open the doors for the queue of people waiting as we had by now been waiting for 35 minutes to be picked up from the place where the driver confirmed to us originally we should wait. Nobody seemed interested....When we got back I was given my key and told my car would be parked in either the first or second lane, they did not know, so we had to walk up and down a very poorly lit car park looking for our vehicle. I have used meet and greet and many other airport car parking companies both at Luton and other airports uk and abroad and I have never experienced such poor service and care....My advice, if you have taken the time to read to this point, is to use another company....this was a terrible experience...having read some of the other reviews before writing mine (wish I had read them before I booked) I am not going to bother emailing my complaint as it appears it falls on deaf ears, instead I will ensure all my friends and family, and anyone else who will listen, know about our experience, a bad reputation spreads much more quickly than a good one...how short sighted of this company

Do not use them, they might be chip but as well they will handle your car with no care at all, And they scen put this in they terms And conditions as the car might be not a road szafę when you pick up but they will not take any responsibilyty if you crash on the way home because the way they drive your car. Carpark full of potholes ( behind the barier) and the drivers try to attempt them high speed. They don't care if you have flat tyre on the pick up day they will still drove your car mad and if you find any scratches or dents is your fault because you decide to save fev £and they don't take any responsibility. If you write to them you gone be send link to therms and conditions and say you lucky to have your car back( what is left of it)

Never use them again

We parked our car here for 10 days returned at 2am

In the morning.

The weather was -2 and the car was covered in ice.

The car park is pitch black no lighting

I took a quick look at it but seemed ok

Went home and parked in the garage.

Next day at 10 am went out to see my defrosted car and a v dent by the petrol cap.

Phoned them straight away to be asked if I had the car inspected. Which I replied yes.

Then asked again did I have the car inspected and have a inspection slip

To which I still replied yes.

Then after this I was told there was nothing they would do as I drove the car out of the car park.

As it was covered in ice and pitch black what can you say.

My advice is avoid this car park at all cost, but if you do use it please make sure they inspect your car, give you a damage sheet signed and inspect your car before driving out no matter what the weather.

Arrived early in the morning with several others and waited about 10 minutes for the transport. There was then a free for all to get on a small minibus which could only take a few people. We had to wait 15 minutes for this bus to return. When we came to collect our car after our break, we found a long scratch down the side of it. Having now read other reviews on other sites we feel lucky to have escaped with just a scratch and nothing stolen! How can this business still be allowed to function?

I used Airport Carparkz in December 2012 and when I collected my car after 7 days they had damaged it. I reported it to reception and they told me to email the manager. I emailed Purple Parking, their agent and they contacted the manager who said I should have inspected the car and filled out an inspection form before leaving it with them. I was not given any such form. Airport Carparkz and Purple Parking have refused to compensate me or to investigate this further, so I am left with a scraped car. Reading the other reviews on here (which I was I had done) this is a common occurrence. USE AT YOUR PERIL. Rubbish.

Parking on arrival and transport to the terminal was ok, but collection on our return was awful. This company advertise that pick up is on request, but this was not our experience. We rang to be collected as soon as we were out of the terminal, as requested, and were told to proceed to the pick-up point, which was only a couple of minutes away. When we got to the pick-up point the bus was there, but to our dismay we were advised by the driver the bus was full, and we would have to wait at least 30 minutes before he would be back. The car park may only be 5 minutes from the terminal, but they were only operating one bus, so allowing for loading/unloading the round trip takes at least 30 minutes. To make matters worse as the bus drove away we could see that at least the last two rows of seats were piled high with cases - these could have been put on the floor to free up two seats, as standing was not allowed. We had deliberately booked with this company, and paid extra, because our home landing was after midnight, and we wanted to get away as soon as possible. We would have been better parking with a competitor who was further away but cheaper, and who had at least 3 buses pick customers up whilst we were waiting. I have sent 3 e mails of complaint to the company regarding this appalling service, all of which have been ignored.

The site is close to the airport. Reception is a Portakabin in an old factory car park. The shuttle bus is an ageing Hoppa bus.

The car had damage upon collection. The staff said that unless the car had a condition inspection form filled out at the time of arrival, nothing would be done.

The inspection form "has to be requested by the customer at the time as our T&C's state on the website as we don't do it otherwise". No mention was made of this whilst booking or dropping off the car. If there's a sign in reception it wasn't seen.

This is in their T&C's. "Ensure a member of our staff checks your vehicle carefully before you leave it with us". They take the cars at reception and park them. They bring them back to reception for collection.

To be AVOIDED......

I politely pointed out to the miserable blond behind the counter that I had to wait more than 30 minutes and she told me that she didn't care! They were only running one mini bus when the other two or three they have were parked up doing nothing....... RUDE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

In principle a good service unfortunately they should be more attentive and be more professional in the way it is run and a little investment would make big difference.

Good points:

Close to the airport, transition is short less than 10 minutes easy to drop off and to collect.

It would help if the staff showed more that they cared, a uniform would help as well as investment in better facilities including the loos to give it w much more professional outfit.
