Dreadful Check-in And Car Was Left Unlocked

I frequently fly on business from Luton and other UK airports. I have used Luton Airparks in the past, but not for a few years, preferring to use a meet and greet service at Luton.

The first problem I encountered with Airparks was the self service check-in that has appeared since the last time I was there. Although all my details were entered correctly at the time of booking, the information on the check-in terminal was mostly in the wrong fields. I had to spend several minutes correcting or re-entering everything. This was made very difficult by the poorly calibrated touch screen. Not what I needed at 5am after a 3 hour drive! I don't know how they have the nerve to call it "drop and go".

On my return, I used the automated key retrieval system without problem, and found my car.

I was dismayed to find it had been left unlocked, and the radio had been re-tuned to a station I never listen to.

I will go back to using a meet and greet service in future. Handing over my keys and signing a form before walking in to the terminal is what I call drop and go.

Avoid At All Costs!

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

Everything seemed great. When I arrived the service was good, and journey time to the airport quite quick... BUT... Upon my return I received my key from the automated system, and it was damaged... After filing a complaint with the manager I was told I would be contacted within three working days by Airparks head office. Three weeks later after no response I contacted them directly, to receive the response "We haven't been able to find any evidence to suggest that the damage was caused by our staff". Implying that not only did I make up the damage, but also that at no point during their "safeguarding" of my car and key did they notice that the key was damaged.

Beware.... If you must use them, take photographs of EVERYTHING! I for one will never use them again, and have ensured none of my employees will either!

On a side note, whilst the car wash service may seem like a good idea, it is more expensive than any of the local serviced car washes, and the standard is poor, I was too busy (wasting my time) trying to speak to a manager regarding my broken key to argue over the uncleaned mats, door slams and streaky window.

Damage To Car

I recently used Airparks at Luton Airport stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and parked for 7days I was offered meet and greet by Airparks on return for £24.99 which I accepted on return I rang to have my car delivered and was told due to a nearby accident it would take about 50 mins

if I took the bus they would refund my payment I decided this was quickest and on arrival at the Airparks site they said the couldn't refund me from the site office which was strange as that where I had paid it,I phoned the following day and hopefully it is going to be refunded however I have since found a deep scratch on the top of the bumper at the rear of the car

Airparks are refusing to admit any liability as I had left the site and didn't ring them till the following day will NEVER use this company again

BEWARE.

Scratched My Car

Left my car with these people for a week, came back to find the passenger side bumper badly scratched, right down to the metal in several locations, due to clever parking of the car and being overtired this wasn't picked up at the time. Following correspondence have proved that they know they are to blame but will not accept responsibility, the car was moved four times while in their possession I find this un-necessary and without doubt the cause of the damage. I would never use this company again and would urge others to pick a different company.

Not What I Expected

The car park bus takes you to the ibis hotel but it's up the road were the bus drops you off and a good walk raining bad when we did it so not told good, in the write up it sates 2 min walk but it's not. Then it states walking distance to the airport which is a no no good walk. We waited for the bus next day and after twenty mins decided to walk buts it's a long way. Definitely not for me.

Bus driver very unhelpful not help you with luggage I think poor service around and don't state it correctly just how far it is to walk

Van Damaged And 250 Miles Added To Mileage

Just come back off holiday, collected van from Luton Airparks, Mirror cracked, mirror plastics broken, front bumper scuffed, puncher hole on rear panel, alloy wheel damaged and 250 miles added to clock.

Just emailed customer services, but don't hold out much hope looking at these reviews. Some one obviously been using vehicle, radio station changed and a half drunk water bottle in door pocket. Van was washed and hand dried prior to going to Luton so no every bit of it. Very disappointed in the lack of care taken of my vehicle. I may as well have parked it on a side street and saved my self money.

Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pay a bit extra for a better company. If the unlikely even that Airparks actually pay out for all this damage I will update my review. Emailed them 5/8/14, so I will wait and see

Airparks Damaged My Car

Returned from a weeks holiday to Luton @04.00 after. 5 hour delay and 10 hours travel. My car was covered in dew and the front of the car was covered in mud, I assumed it had been parked in a puddle and passing cars had splashed it. Checked the car and it looked OK. On the way home stopped at services and when I got out of the car(now dry) noticed the front bumper was damaged. Airparks have refused to pay the £150 for the repair because it was not reported before I left the yard.

Airparks state

Airparks take pride in the way they look after customers and their vehicles and they are committed to do their best at all times.

If this is their best I hope they don't get any worse!!

Park with someone else.

“damaged Car- No Liability!! Avoid Using This Company.."

We went on holiday from Luton airport and booked Airparks for our car for the week. On our return arrived at the drop off point, where upon we saw the dent on top of the car complete with marks, wooden flakes, small stones and a dried banana skin and a complete flat battery. I point it out to the Airpark customer service advisor and filled required forms. The duty manager took some pictures of the damage. He said we would get a response in a few days. They get back to us 2 months later and told us they do not take any liability. I wish I would not use this company at all.

Money Stolen From Car - Beware!

I have used airparks for a number of years and never had a problem but I returned today to find that money I had hidden in the car for parking change - around £10.00 had been stolen, looking at other reviews this appears to be common.

We Had To Wait For A Good 1hour And A Half For The Bus

We landed at luton about lunch time we got to bay 12 and then we waited a good 1 hour and a half in the freezing cold and rain all the other passengers where cross with the staff and we where all queuing as their was only 1 bus and if you missed one bus you had to wait another 40 mins they need to put more buses on for air parks not very good at all. I also nearly had to stand on the step I was really annoyed because if the driver had to break I would of nearly fallen off the step but lucky enough a very nice couple let me sit down on the seat and they let my mum sit down aswell. I don't think they should let people stand on the steps and it also took us a long while to get everyone suitcases on and off the coach and then their was a queue to get you key out of the box at the air parks after we got in our car we did not get home until 4pm a d then we started unpacking our suitcases I did not sit down until 6pm I am very cross and tired. The staff where not very friendly at all.
