Beware! Do Not Leave Your Car
I used the Park, Stay & Fly package at Manchester Airport Crowne Plaza. This is managed on their behalf by Holiday Car Care, Manchester.
When we arrived back at the hotel to collect our brand new car, after my 2 week holiday, I noticed that there was damage to it. I took photos of the car before leaving it with them and after picking the car up. Whilst the damage may not have been caused directly by Holiday Car Care, they are not willing to help at all, even though I have shown these photos to them (including those taken by Crowne Plaza management) All I can say is that when I left the car in their care there was no damage and when I returned there was damage! I would have hoped that Crowne Plaza, being a reputable company, would have used contractors that offer the same levels of customer service, but from the experience I have had this is not the case. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the hotel, however think twice before allowing your car to be looked after by Holiday Car Care. If you are thinking of parking and staying at the Crowne Plaza there is an onsite car park at Manchester Airport, next door to the hotel, that I would recommend you use – that way, at least, you know where your car is parked.

How I wish I had read this before we used Crowne Plaza Manchester airport hotel and parking pacakge when we went to Crete for the first week in October.
On our return we too found damange to my husband's brand new Toyota Avensis. Immediately reported it to the Guest Relations Manager who accompanied us to inspect the vehicle and, after prompting by me, took some photos of the damage. She suggested someone may have reversed into it!!! Damage was not condusive to a car reversing or driving into it and as Holiday Car Care hadn't put the hand brake on when they left if for us to collect, our car would surely have lurched into the car parked facing it.
Promised a call within 72 hours that never happened. My husband and I have both left lengthy voicemails with Holiday Car Care and had endless problems trying to contact the hotel 'Guest Relations Manager' who, 7 days on STILL hasn't called us and leaves us to call the hotel leaving messages for her to call but in vein.
I have managed to ascertain that the Crowne Plaza will cease to use Holiday Car Care in a few weeks and I now see why. DO NOT leave your car in the care of Holiday Car Care and before taking advantage of airport hotels' parking offers, ask them who they use.
Based on my experience of the 'Guest Relations Manager' I would advise against using the Crowne Plaza in general and if you do, don't expect them to give a damn if something goes wrong.
