Glasgow, Direct Parking

Have used this parking facility many times in the past. We will not be back though! We arrived to find the car park almost empty. We parked close by the entrance. We queued behind everyone else to get on the bus. The bus driver curtly told me to go and check-in and park my car in the right bay! I went in to the office and was advised that my space was in the blue area. I laughed and asked why I had to move a car in an empty car park. She told me it was because someone else would have been allocated the space I was in. I had to move.

My space was through the gates into a far away space. By the time I was getting back to the office the driver was leaving and my wife was left standing with our cases. 30 seconds more and we could have been on the bus.

Another bus arrived and we got on it. The driver disappeared into the office. He reappeared 15 minutes later and proceeded to wait for other people who were still arriving into the car park. We eventually got moving 22 minutes after sitting on the bus. Which really means we could have been at the airport 25 minutes earlier. So forget any indication about 10 minute transfers, etc.

When we returned to Glasgow, ours was the last bus to arrive. It parked back at the office and everyone had to get off! Had it been raining, at least one of us would have been soaked going to retrieve the car.

Last time! We won't be back.....

Unhelpul lazy staff who seemed to be half asleep and couldnt be bothered listening to your complaints of which i had many.

Only used this company once but will not be going back again, I have seen pages and pages of good reviews about this company and can only say they must be using a different outfit.

We have used Direct Parking in Murray Street for a number of years and have always been satisfied with the service. Could do with new transfer buses. I would recommend.
