Fantastic friendly and efficient service.It made such a difference to our holiday, no hassle, no waiting around for coaches to go to the terminal from off-airport car parking and all for a very good price ! They took 20 minutes to arrive after I reached Gatwick after I had called them to say I was on my way. On return from holiday they took 90 minutes to deliver my car to me. Making excuses each time I rang them. They agreed to pay me £30 compensation and a cheque arrived for £25, they obviously need the £5 more than me. They even tried to tell me I had returned from holiday early, and I had their booking receipt clearly stating my time of return on it. This is without doubt the worst parking company I have ever dealt with and there is no way I would recommend them to anyone.

After shopping around, I found this service to be one of the best prices available. But the real bonus for me was being able to drive right outside the terminal at 4:30 in the morning and have someone waiting there to take my car away. Equally on my return a quick call while I was waiting to collect my luggage and my car was waiting for me when I got out of the terminal. I can't recommend this service highly enough. The communication and information was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use them when I next travel.

Vowed never to use this company again after we left our Mondeo with them in Feb 2013 and found that it had been used while we were away. The front passenger seat had been pushed fully forward (actually making it impossible for my passenger to get in the car!), and the cords supporting the parcel shelf had been detached. The only logical reason for these 2 changes to the set up of my car is that it was used to transport something pretty bulky.

(Tip to Getaway - if you're going to use customers cars while they are away, remember to put the car back as you found it!)

I did give the Getaway a chance to comment but have still not received a reply after 4 weeks.

Four months ago I had never heard of valet parking, let alone Getaway! A friend introduced us to the concept and after looking into it ourselves, we chose Getaway. They were considerably cheaper than the firm our friend had been using but with no less a service. We've used them twice now and found them to be utterly reliable and trustworthy on both occasions. Following our recommendation, our friend now uses Getaway too!,

It's a very strange feeling handing over your car and its keys to a complete stranger for the first time, but when they are as professional, reassuring and organised as Getaway, it feels OK the second time. They did exactly as they promised; they met us as arranged, took the car away and kept it safe for the duration, and returned it to us (warm!) as arranged. For all of that, you pay them a fee less than the cost of having to struggle to park it yourself. Brilliant concept. Kept simple. Well executed. Great value.

We will definitely be using Getaway the next time we fly from Gatwick.

We booked Getaway Parking on the recommendation of a friend as we were going skiing from Gatwick and had an early start. The representative arrived a short time after us when we dropped the car off and a short time after we arrived back. I would definitely use again and recommend them to others. The only slight drawback is there is no clearly signed area for the drop off and pick up - this would be useful but may be down to airport regulations that there isn't one, so not really the fault of Getaway Parking.

We used this service the first time and will use it again. Although we had to wait a bit for our car to return (tried to phone, but nobody picked up the phone) we still think this is a very good service and will recommend it to friends and family.

. I’m Sergio Santos and recently I used this company and I had a really bad service, it was beyond bad.

when I arrived and contacted the company at the airport no one was there to received me and no one was there to pick up the phone, this went for 1 hour almost losing the check in and the flight and then after 1 and something someone did pick up the phone, and it was agreed by the responsible at the time that they would pay for the parking and be responsible for it. When I got back one week later that did not happened

the didn’t want to pay the full amount of the parking and just wanted to pay a part of it a really small part of it. Until know never seen the colour of that money in my bank account and when I call them they say they are sending a check by mail never got that. And every time I call them is a different story. Now I received a message from the company saying. In their words.

Excellent service. Cannot fault this at all. Prompt collection and pick up. First time i used a meet and greet and was a bit concerned but there was no need to be, staff friendly and helpful and above all great value. Highly recommend and would definetly use again

I've used Getaway parking a couple of times now, most recently last week. The service is great - they deliver what they say they will - and is reliable. The hand overs are crisp, efficient and businesslike - but you do need to phone ahead as instructed. All the staff I have encountered have been pleasant and polite - I have not worried about handing over my car!

Not having to wait for a bus from the car park is a real bonus, especially in the depths of winter.

I'll definitely be using Getaway again.
