Great Service - Great Price!

A friend of mine had told me abotu Diamond Parking and said that he had good service so when the wife and I decied to go to Verona for the week - we thought we'd give them a go. When I got through I foudn out that Diamond Parking had been bought by Help-Me-Park the biggest approved meet and greet parking company at Gatwick. WOW! I have to say I will never use an airport car park again! They guys were waiting for us when we got there right outside the North Terminal at Gatwick. They were easy to spot as they have very distinctive uniforms and they were all very friendly. The handover was quick and easy and they made sure I understood what to do on my return and gave me a card with all the details. Had a great week in Verona, arrived back at 20 past 8 in the evening on a Sunday. We called the number on the card while we were waiting in the baggage reclaim (as instructed) and the phone was picked up immediately and once we gave the chap our reference he knew exactly who we were and even told us what our car was! Thats organisation for you. So as we walked through to the pick up area we immediately saw our car with the chap net to it. Loaded our bags, signed the docket and we were away. Diamond Parking / Help-me-park are BRILLIANT! What a time saver and what a money saver! Much cheaper than going in the airport car park! I have already told 2 of my colleagues who travel regularly from Gatwick!! Try them - you won't regret it!

Fantastic Service Very Friendly Staff

We have just got back from a cruise in the Med and used Diamond Meet & Greet at Gatwick for our flight to Barcelona to board our ship.

We had no problems at all and were very impressed with the service, we rang them 20 mins before we arrived at Gatwick and they were there about 5 mins after our arrival to pick up the car, we did a walk round the car to note any damage and i also took a quick video on my mobile for my own satisfaction. The chap who picked my car up explained the procedures for when we returned and away he drove.

On our return the car was waiting for us after a quick call when we picked up our baggage, i had a walk around the car and it was damage free,I signed the paperwork and away we went on our way home. I cannot fault the service and would use this company again although they have received quite a few negative reviews, I may have just been lucky or the company have really got there act together.

Do Not Use!

I cancelled this service due to never receiving a booking confirmation from them. Even though I cancelled within the given timeframes I never had my money refunded. I had numerous email conversations with them in which I was promised my money but it was never forth coming. I have now reported them to my bank and to Trading Standards. After emailing them again today the email address doen't seem to work!

Damaged Car - Do Not Use

Appalling service, no record of our booking and then dented the car. Agreed to fix it but 3 months later still have not paid up and therefore the work can't be done. They never return emails or phone calls, have now sent over 20 emails and called a couple of times a week for the past 11 weeks to no avail. The manager of the company pops in a few hours a week and does nothing. Will be seeking legal advice. Never use this company

On Our return phoned as requested soon as plane landed and again when collected bags(although I called before we got our bags to save delays) told car would be there as soon as poss.30 mins later called again and was told car was on its way due to police at terminal (pack of LIES) after another 15mins car turns up with the same driver that had dropped of a car 20 mins earlier then ran off out of the car park once he had delivered it to obviously get ours. have used these before but never again as I complain to the driver about the delay he couldn't be bothered so now getting angry said I would write this review as his reply "yeah whatever do what you like " and walked off. absolute disgrace NOT a way to run a business. still fuming today.

2.5 hours late to return my car to me. I had all the excuses under the sun from 'You are not listed for a return today' 'We have no record of you' 'We have you down as a no show' 'Are you sure you dropped you car off with us?' 'What did the driver look like?' 'We can't find your car' when they finally admitted to having my car they promised to have it returned to me in 45 minutes because there were 2 people ahead of me in the queue (wonder how long they were waiting!) didn't show up for another hour. First called at 2:30 for a booked return of 3, they finally got my car to me at 5:30. THEY ARE NOT APPROVED GATWICK PARKING OPERATORS. The parking attendants for Gatwick airport (non biased as do not work for any parking company) told me some terrible stories other passengers had encountered from this company. Despite all of the above I am yet to receive an apology from Diamond Parking.

45 Minutes Late & Car Damaged

Have used them 3 times this year and last year, Last year they were 30 minutes late in collecting car, 3rd tinme this year they were 45 minutes late, i kept calling they kept telling lies on their whereabouts. We ended up being the last ones ot check in which resulted in us missing breakfast and running to the boarding gate AND HAVING TO SIT SEPRATLY for the flight, i was fuming. On our return I told them we had already collected our luggage even though we were still waiting and they still managed to be 20 minutes late, the car also had a ding on the back wheel arch. The guy offered for his company to repair but would not trust them with a wheelbarrow let alone a £80,000 car. I USE TO RECOMMEND THEM BUT AFTER BEING A REPEAT CUSTOMER AND THE SERVICE GOING DOWN HILL I WOULDNT NOW.

Damaged Car

We left our car in the care of Diamond Parking in May 2013. When the car was delivered back late, it was noticeably filthy and we noticed a scratch on the bonnet. Upon further inspection we found that there were more scratches down both sides of the car. We are not sure of the location where they park the cars although we did hear their driver refer to it as a "yard" several times. It is only reasonable to expect that the car was returned to us in the condition which we handed it over to them and it is completely unacceptable that scratches were found.

We wrote to complain including pictures of the car on the day we collected it and a scanned copy of their receipt which their driver signed acknowledging the scratches. We also spoke to someone else on the day who instructed us to email them and he would arrange for someone to come and repair the damaged areas. 3 months later and we are still waiting for him to respond.....I would not recommend this company!

On a further note, when I rang Diamond Parking today to speak with him and confirm which email to use, the driver who I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. He would not give me his name, but you should ensure that those responsible for answering the phones understand what customer service is and at least attempt to use it.

All in all I have to say that I am completed unsatisfied with the service thus far and expect to hear from you in the very near future to rectify this and repair all damage caused to the car.

This was our first experience of meet and greet and was a disaster. We had to wait to be met at the airport, wait again on return and I had paid £12 to have the car washed but it wasn't done and I am still trying to get a refund from them one month later. Avoid.

Cheap For A Reason!!!

I could write an essay on their poor performance, poor communication, no record of our booking, and hour late collecting our car, rude, no vehicle checking procedure, lying, the list really does go on. But I looked on I line and booked them because they were about £20 cheaper than anyone else, but I guess you get what you pay for. You can only speak as you find and my advise would be to pay the extra and have peace of mind. Dreadful Company, Dreadful Service, Dreadful employees. Customer Satisfaction Score of Zero from me.

Note to self; check reviews on line before booking next time and stop being a cheapskate...
