Essential Travel Airport Parking, Gatwick

Tried to amend my reservation 48 hours before arriving at Birmingham Airport.

Sent a message through their contact page and tried constantly to telephone.

They did not acknowledge my messages. When I finally got through on the telephone they told me that no messages were received and despite the fact that I paid for cancellation waiver, they refused to amend my reservation. I then tried to cancel but to no avail,saying this was within 24 hours.

All they asked for was proof of sending the message. Be AWARE the website does not send a copy to your inbox so you will have no proof.

KISS GOODBYE TO YOUR MONEY.

The website should tell you that a copy will not be sent to your own inbox.

Awful customer services. Due to bad weather had to cancel in the last minute as my flight got cancelled. BAA parking which I booked for a substitute flight which also did not go returned the money no question and essential travel just refered to terms and conditions and not cancelling by giving 24 hour notice. Always use BAA or any other official car parks and not these "money savers" that just want to take money.

Took an hour for them to turn up to pick up the car at Gatwick and several phone calls. In the meantime I had to just keep driving around Gatwick as there was no designated parking area. On the way home I had to wait an hour for them to turn up with my car. As I had already been up all night I was extremely annoyed. I would not recommend this service or use it again.

I have used essential travel and I must say that they dont have a clue what there doing. I made the booking online that was ok but when I called to confirm it I was spoken to as if I was what the cat draged in and they didn't care. I then used the parking company (ace meet and greet hahahaha) and it just got even worse they where late picking me up and dropping off and my car looked like it had been parked in a field.I complained and was just fobbed off and still I am no further 4 months later. It shows me that once they've got your money your no one to them. In all what a joke of a service by both companies would recommend NOT USING them.

Googled cheap airport parking, found Essential Travel Gatwick parking and booked it. Cheap price, efficent service, no dramas. Would reccomend it to others and I will use them again.
