Car Parking Luton

My car was badly scratched during parking at shot stay for 2 days! When we complained to Holliday Extras we were told that in terms and conditions it's clearly explained that you park at your own risk and they don't take any responsibilities and suggested to obtain cctv from airport security. But if the car park is not going to pay for the damage the airport will not for sure! It was very disappointing as we just bought that car and it was in perfect condition!

I pre-booked for the mid-term car park. It is well signed but I had to hunt for a while before finding a space. A bus arrived within a few minutes. It was clean and there was plenty of space for luggage. On the return journey, a bus was already waiting and we were on our way home within an hour of landing. Highly efficient.

Easy to find, plenty of spaces, reasonably priced and didn't have to wait very long for the shuttle bus, either on departure or arrival. Only problem was on leaving we had pre-paid, but the machine asked for £228, had to contact operator, who did let us out without problem.

The car park was badly sign posted and it took us a few attempts to find it (at 6am in October so it was dark). When we did find it the surfacing was in a poor condition and the sign reading 'spaces' directed us down a row of cars without a space in that was a dead end, so we had to reverse back down.

Having prepaid £38 for 24 hours, when we tried to leave the barrier machine tried to charge us £72.00. Whilst there were 4 barriers, I assume that they were all failing to read the tickets correctly as each one had a diver calling for attention and therefore causing a queue.

Expensive price for a poorly surfaced, signposted and organised car park.

Booked for Pink Car Park in advance for 1 September. Barrier did not read my registration number, hence when we arrived back in the early hours of the morning one week later, machine wanted £121. Had to contact the person on duty and only then could I get through. Not happened before - third time unlucky. Just would say that otherwise the service is good, could do with more buses in the early hours of the morning as could not get on the first bus and had to wait for next. Very cold after temperatures of 30.

Parking fairly straightforward. Could do with a few more signs around as I think I may have gone up a down road if you see what I mean?

The only problem was the waiting for the bus. We waited about 20 minutes for pick up to the airport then around 25 on our return. I got the impression there is only one bus doing the rounds here. I'm sure there were more on our last visit.

As usual, the bus is packed by the time you get on.

I would use this car park again as I got a really good deal. Just make sure you factor the wait times in to your journey.

Brilliant, stress free parking, short walk to the terminal. A great way to start a holiday. Easy return.

Easy to book on line, information sheet was easy to follow we went straight to our allocated parking location, recognised by name on our ticket, pick up bus stop very close to parking position picked up at bus stop within 5 minutes (during the early hours).

Dropped off very close to airport felt confident leaving my car.

Return trip the same in reverse, quick and easy to transfer from airport back to car and start my return journey home

Never used service before, would not go away again without using the service, highly recommend to others

Booking on-line for the short term car park was easy. Four of us were goung to Scotland for 3 days and as 2 people had minor mobility problems we decided that the short term car park was the best. Although more expensive than the other car parks the price was reasonable when booked in advance. The only glitch (as mentioned by others) was that the cameras did not recognise my car when entering. Consequently, when trying to leave 3 days later I was asked for £108.00.! Pressing the intercom button on the exit barrier did eventually rouse someone. Giving my booking reference solved the problem and we were allowed to leave without the additional charge. They really need to get this sorted. In the meantime TAKE YOUR BOOKING REFERENCE WITH YOU!

Arrival at parking ok wih prompt shuttle service.However the wait at the airport on return for the shuttle bus was terrible,a realy hot day with 2 small children after a journey home and we had to wait half an hour for a bus,there was only one bus running,we watched several mid term buses and staff buses arrive and leave.I use gatwick long term regulaly and never have this kind of wait
