Firstly, the instructions for drop off are different than instructions emailed (I booked through EZ car booking). They aren’t coordinated. A few examples: I called when I started driving, 30 minutes before, and ten minutes before arrival and upon the second to last call was told to drop off the car at passenger drop off instead of the short term parking lot (which is what the emailed instructions were). They also told me that I didn’t cal before the required 20 minutes time, which is frankly ridiculous because I called at 30 minutes (it’s as if they only start driving when you call). Upon arrival back at the terminal from a long journey, I was asked which terminal to drop off the car, which is strange because I gave my flight information to them ahead of time. I accidentally told them the wrong terminal and about 1 hr and 15 minutes later I finally get my car back. They told me I can either go to terminal 5 or pay £15 to have the car brought to terminal 2 which is where I was actually. Given they told me to go to passenger drop off, they’re claim that they spent money waiting in the short term car parking garage seemed odd as well. They even told me that the poor service was a function of me booking a “cheap” deal. I don’t quite understand that logic either since I booked it through a legitimate portal. The whole situation wasn’t worth the £30 savings. Don’t book with Budget Meet and Greet unless you want to be waiting around on the departures and arrivals end at least 30 minutes.
